Food was great. Went here with a group for a nice meal. Service was awesome and everyone’s meal was delicious. The restaurant could have used some background music but would love to come back here!

The reviews of this bistro have been great and I must say they didn’t lie. My wife and I went to try Texas Bistro out and we were not disappointed. The ribeye steak with buttered crab was delicious(pricey but steak is these days). My wife had the chicken fried chicken and it was delicious as well. I would say probably the only thing I would add is some warm rolls of some sort to round out the meal. We tried the Key Lime pie, it was very good as well. It is sourced from a bakery in San Antonio. If you like your Key Lime to be slightly tart with a mildly sweet punch afterward this is the one. The atmosphere is quaint and upscale, great place for adults on date brunch or date night. Quiet and cozy in a way. We will definitely go back.

Nice restaurant gets busy quick, make a reservation so you don’t have to wait. Found out on Sunday that they only do the brunch menu, appetizer, soup, and salad. Mother in law was really looking forward to the pasta dish. Food was pretty good and attentive staff.

Food was well flavored, the vibe was nice, and it has a full bar if you’re wanting a cocktail. I’ve tried two dishes from here so far and plan to give a few more a try that looked delicious.

We stopped by TexasBistro for dinner on a recent Saturday after concluding some business in town. The restaurant is a small place, but very airy and cheerfully decorated. The “Texas” theme is everywhere, and fun! The restaurant had a crab cake special that evening, so we started there. OMG! What a huge plate of food. Monster crab cakes, 99% crab, very little filler, on top of boiled/smashed/fried whole potatoes, on top of pureed zucchini. Darn good! Perfectly seasoned, served nice and hot! Based on platers we saw being delivered to other tables, and our waitress recommendation, we tried the stuffed poblano pepper next … CrazyGood! Thepepper is stuffed with potatoes, corn, zucchiniand blackbeans, and we added shrimp. Topped with melted cheese and sitting in a roasted jalapeno cream sauce, served over cilantroseasoned rice, the stuffed poblano is veryworthy of its reputation as a crowd favorite. They split the dish for us to share, no charge, which is always nice. We had a glass of white wine with dinner … the wine list, while not exhaustive, has a decent variety of varietals, very reasonably priced. We had a 5 star dinner at Texas Bistro, and will definitely stop again by when we’re in the neighborhood. Easily, one of the top restaurants in the New Braunfels, TX area!

Just ate here at 1pm on a Saturday. Our server was FANTASTIC, great sense of humor, and knew the menu really well. I ordered the fried chicken off the brunch menu and the hummus. Both were fresh and delicious. We’ll be back.

My mom and I went here for brunch, which they do on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. Love the decor and the atmosphere. Service is friendly and prompt without being overbearing. I had the shrimp and grits. Cheesy, bacony goodness with lightly fried shrimp and a poached egg, like a hug in a bowl! Special thanks to Jason for making us feel welcome. Try this place – you won’t be disappointed!

The food and drinks were great. They were very accommodating. Our reservation of 6 was for 1:30, even though they closed at 2. They didn’t try to rush us out. The server was attentative and patient with us while we were ordering. The drinks and food came out in a timely fashion, and we really enjoyed our time.
