Finally stopped in to grab a meal after walking by for years. Ordered a Rochester White Hot w/fries. Loved the dog, loved the fries even more; maybe the best fries I’ve had in years – hot and crispy. Wait was fifteen minutes, seemed kinda long for a slow period but no problem it was super tasty. And CHEAP! Love the prices!

We went in about 30 minutes before close (our fault), and ordered a burger and garbage wrap. They told me they were out of bacon because it was so late, which was fine, so I asked if I could have chili on my cheeseburger (I had originally ordered one of the specialty burgers), but the cook just shook his head, so I ended up just getting a plain cheeseburger. Which was fine, except they put chili in my husband’s garbage wrap, so I’m not sure why they couldn’t put it on the burger also? Burger was good. Fries were a bit over cooked for my liking, but my husband thoroughly enjoyed his garbage wrap (and chili).

Hungry’s is an absolute must visit for anyone in Rochester. Regardless of whether you’re a local, and you’ve eaten the original plate at Nicks, or you’re brand new to the Hots scene, these garbage plates are simply the best in the world. I’ve had almost every combination on their menu for plates, and have never once been disappointed. Please, give this business a visit and see for yourself the pure joy a perfect garbage plate is.

I got a garbage plate a couple nights ago and it was one of the best I’ve had in a while!! Everything was fresh and very good the only thing I regret is not asking for it to be extra spicy.

Called ahead a half hour before they closed but they wouldn’t pick up, number says voicemail full. They closed 15 minutes before close, which is fine, I get wanting to close early, but just pick up the phone and say that’s what the plan is so I don’t waste a trip. Dissimulation is worse than straight-up dishonesty.
