Imagine a well-established friendly neighborhood breakfast diner, with all the usual offerings. Now add creative specials, like jalapeño cornbread benedict with sweet potato hash, or Belgian waffles served with squares of tiramisu. That’s Jake’s. I admit, I’m more often in the mood for bougie brunch spots than diners, and I’m not a fan of pot coffee, but I can always be talked into eating at Jake’s. Just remember to bring cash or an ATM card!

CASH ONLY. Food was phenomenal and the service was even better. I ordered eggs Benedict and extra crispy corned beef and hash. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the hash was so good. Highly recommend if you are in town.

The breakfast here is always very good. I especially like the pancakes in the French toast. The service is always friendly and the food is always fresh. It can get very busy especially on the weekends, so you’re going to want to make sure that you leave plenty of time. But they turn the tables very quickly.

They have the best omelettes they are huge. Even though they are always very busy on the weekends the servers are fast and polite and quick to refill your coffee. We often have a group of 4-8 people and haven’t ever had to wait over 10 minutes despite the limited seating. It’s a small place. I like this place much better than Main Street Cafe and The Big Apple This is the place for breakfast in Marlborough.

Great food in a busy diner atmosphere. Eggs Benedict were nicely cooked with a nice thick piece of ham instead of the usual thin deli ham. Home fries weren’t very good. Very dry and overcooked without any flavor. Elvis waffle was good at first but then was too much for my husband. He said he wouldn’t get it again. Service great and the waitress was pleasant and quick with coffee refills

Breakfast was great! My daughter and youngest son devoured the French Toast and pancakes. Spinach and feta omelette looked amazing. I enjoyed some eggs, bacon and crispy hash browns from their grill. Searched after a mid to low breakfast at the Hampton Inn in Marlboro (9 minutes away)

When on vacation or hockey trips we love going to the locals. Will not eat at a chain restaurant. This one was definitely worth the price. Great food, great service. The wait staff treated you like family and seemed to know almost everyone of the locals who came in. Give them a try if you are ever in the area.
