We were visiting Florence SC and we decided to visit some different places. We stopped at Maryland Fried Chicken and ordered fried chicken, rice and gravy, with mashed potatoes and gravy. Our food had no flavor at all, the chicken was basic, the rice had gravy and the taste was off, the mashed potatoes was plain, we did not received any gravy with our mashed potatoes. Staff were very friendly. This restaurant was clean. This restaurant offers dine-in serves and a drive-thru with a parking lot.

So we decided to try a different chicken restaurant, instead of the usual. Big mistake, the chicken I received appeared to had be cooked hours ago and should have been trashed after a certain amount of time. The thighs were dried up and hard the meat had that grey color that chicken gets when it sits out too long. The sad part is that the skin had a very good flavor if you were able to chew it. Message to owner, please don’t over cook the chicken, when it hasn’t been sold and been sitting dont sell,throw it out. I waste $20…

$40 for dinner. $40. For two people. I Live on the other side of Florence. Ordered 2 dinners. Shrimp and chicken. Anything missing!?!?!? Your job isn’t that hard. Take the order, fill the order, CHECK the order. Same thing happened two weeks ago. I am beyond DONE with MFC. You are not the only game in town. My money will be spent at Captain Ds from now on. Love ❤️ this place 4 chicken legs and small fry.. I was her in April and was charged twice for my order, I called and spoke to the supervisor today May 19 and she reimbursed me my money and plus gave me a gift card wow! now that’s good customer service I appreciated being treated like a person and not just a customer

I already knew what I wanted as I was driving down from Columbia. I order the Livers and Gizzards and a Two piece snack with mash potatoes & gravy. This was my 1st time eating white gravy on potatoes. I don’t care for hush puppies unless it’s from Jumpin J’s. I love put hot sauce on my meats. I was excited about this.
