Very nice experience! The mozzarella with the tomato sauce was very good! The home made bread made my night: had not had some good bread in two weeks. And the desserts were fantastic closure. I also liked the red house wine there. All in all a very nice experience.

Such a beautiful and amazing restaurant to come celebrate my 26th birthday 2/26 today with my sister , both of us first time experience at this exquisite restaurant, the restaurant itself was just so beautiful and the food was amazing and the bottle of whine was just absolutely yummy and exactly everything me and my sister wanted it was so spot on fruity and delicious and the ravioli was yummy we both had that and the desert was just absolutely amazing and so yummy and filling we had a chocolate bomba and Tiramisu highly recommend both deserts. Everything was perfect definitely will be back to try out more of the delicious food thank you to the chef and the whole restaurant. Just amazing.

I really liked the food here. Very authentic and well prepared. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the service was not very good. The waitress was not too knowledgeable and seemed to forget to pay attention to us. I would normally decrease my rating more for this level of service but with the difficulty of getting staff I am only dropping a star. I certainly will give them another chance when I am in the area again.

Had a truly weird dining experience here. When we walked in, we were greeted by the sight of a bar where a couple people were seated.

Was so excited to try this place based on the reviews. Visiting from out of town. Walked a mile to get there and the venue was lovely. We were so excited and impressed by the authentic decor. We requested outdoor seating and got it!! The waitor came to our table and rattled off the specials. He said them so fast, it was hard to understand. We asked him to repeat some of the options and he did. We ordered a pomegranate martini and a Michelob ultra. After a while, the waiter came back and said he couldn’t serve us alcohol because he thought that we seemed to have been drinking. We assured him that we hadn’t been, but honestly, I was completely offended by his accusations, so we left. I did tell him that I was insulted and he didn’t seem to care at all. We went to a Mexican restaurant near by and had a great meal and drinks for the same price as one pasta dinner at their restaurant. Everything happens for a reason.well never go there again.

Our food was completely delicious and the environment was so romantic. Our server Christopher was extremely charismatic and eager to ensure that we had the best meal possible. He even sent us home with extra bread. Thank you so much for making our meal great! We look forward to coming back.

What a disappointment! This place is horribly unaccommodating. We had made a reservation for 7 people days ago and when we arrived they claimed they had no record of the call and accused us of making the reservation at another location. My husband showed them the number in his phone and they said there’s no way anyone would have answered. I understand that miscommunications happen but they should have done more for us since it was their mistake. This place is packed now because it’s summer in the Berkshires but wait until winter when they are hoping that local folks will dine with them. I certainly won’t be. Do better Trattoria Rustica. Do better.

It’s hard to tell if this restaurant is an intentional prank being played on the residents of Pittsfield, or just has a chef-owner who is clueless. Honestly, we’ve had better Italian cuisine (and much better service, in a much nicer atmosphere) almost anywhere else locally…and for a fraction of the price.

Worst service I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant in my life. It’s like the waitstaff had received no training whatsoever. We each ordered a glass of wine with our appetizers, and at no point in the evening did anyone ask us if we’d like another glass. Even worse, although we saw the server on the other side of the dining room refill water glasses in his section regularly, nobody ever came to refill our water or even check to see if our glasses were empty, which they were for most of the meal. I had linguini with white clam sauce, which is not a thick sauce, but for some reason it was served in a flat plate, and when the busser came to take our plates away, she spilled the sauce all over the tablecloth and then proceeded just to leave it there. She didn’t apologize, she didn’t bring us a fresh tablecloth, she didn’t even cover it with a cloth napkin or something. When the waiter came back with our dessert menus, he looked right at it and proceeded to act like it wasn’t even there. This thing was more than a foot across, right in the middle of the table, with pasta and little chunks of garlic in it, and since he didn’t feel like doing anything about it, he acted like it wasn’t even there. In other Italian restaurants in this price range, water glasses are kept full, drink orders are attended to, and if so much as a breadcrumb soils the tablecloth, and not even breadcrumbs are left to soil the tablecloth between courses. There’s more, but I’d be here typing all night. This isn’t a matter of the restaurant being short staffed. They had adequate staff for the size of the dining room. The problem was staff with no professionalism, no training, and no basic common sense. We will not be coming back.
