Cooked to order soul food with a southern flare, Chef Robinson wants the carryout restaurant to feel like home for customers. Open Tuesdays through Saturday, from 12pm. to 11pm and Sunday’s from 1 to 9 p.m.
Customers will also be able to order online, through DoorDash and through Uber Eats. Some of the key items on the menu are chicken wings with the famous drip sauce pot roast, turkey chops, collard greens, macaroni cheese, sweet yams, polish boys, fish fry Fridays and other authentic soul food culture meals to enjoy. Last night 05/12/2023 I order the oxtail entree and the smothered pork chops entree my friend ordered the chicken and rice entree. The mac and cheese was not good it was not cheesy at all the greens were very salty with no other taste the flavoring to the pork chop was good but it was over cooked for 28.50 for an oxtail entree I got 3 oxtails I can buy a whole pack of oxtails for what I paid for my meal. This review is from the 3 different meals 3 different people.

The food wasn’t what I expected. To me it lacked a lot of flavor. By no means the food wasn’t nasty or bad it just didn’t live up to the soul food I grew up knowing and loving. I ordered a wing dinner with greens and Mac and cheese and the greens was bland the Mac and cheese was ok and the chicken wasn’t bad despite I asked if I could have sauce on my wings and they said yes but I got it on the side which I hate. They said it would be ready in 25 minutes I came within 20 and waited for almost 10 minutes before anyone said anything to me then took another 10 minutes and got my food. I don’t know if I would go back and try them out but I want to go to the one in Cleveland Heights at least because I heard it was better… My response to the owner….My review is most definitely not fake. I only wrote what I experienced. I only mentioned the Cleveland Heights location because that’s how I heard about this one. I never said anything negative about anyone. I literally said the food wasn’t bad just not what I expected. ♂️ Maybe I caught you guys on a bad day Idk but please don’t call me a liar because you didn’t like what I wrote. I would’ve liked a “hey sorry for your bad experience come back I’m sure it’ll be better” would’ve been a better response. Didn’t mean no disrespect just was telling my truthful experience. I ordered the Pork Chop entrée with Mac and cheese and yams. I also ordered an extra side of green beans. The pork chop was fried and seasoned very well crispy and crunchy. The Mac had real cheese not that slice cheese these restaurants sale now and the yams where not too sweet just the right amount. The side of green beans where delicious very well seasoned. I will definitely be back.

I’m so disappointed, after 9months of coming to this place, ordering the same thing I was so sad and disappointed by the food we received today..usually the food is amazing, we have bragged about the food at this place..and today was going to shoe some new customers how good it was..until we got the worst chicken dinner we have ever gotten, burnt,oily and soggy sitting in old grease and everything.

Very sweet girl that took my order but unfortunately the food was not what I expected. The macaroni and cheese was horrible. I couldn’t even finish it. It was mushy and bland. The greens were ok but it had a lot of stems. The shrimp was the only thing that was decent. Also a corn muffin was supposed to come with the meal and I didn’t get that. They definitely have to step their game up. It really sucks to have to leave this review but it is what it is.

Ordered Salisbury Steak and got meatloaf which was more expensive!!! It reminded me of a tv dinner! Mashed potatoes were out of a box and the corn was like eating plastic!!! The meatloaf which as I said earlier was supposed to be Salisbury Steak tasted straight like Stouffer’s like they took a couple or few of them and pressed them together to make one!!! $34 bucks +tax down the toilet!!! Oh forgot to mention Stouffer’s taste better I should have went next door to the Walmart!!! Don’t mean any DISRESPECT to the Cook on duty or ANYONE ELSE!!! BUT I cooks too and if my food is or was not acceptable I WOULD WANT TO KNOW!!!So I can fix it!!! GOD BLESS !!!

Unfortunately, this occasion was not great. The only thing good was the fries. Polish boy tasted like stale bread and the wing dings were crispy, but not a lot of meat. By far the worst order. Maybe they should stick to soul food.
