No other table had customers. My food was not delivered until the rest of our table had fully completed dinner. Server blamed the Cook. Very unprofessional. When my food was finally delivered I said we are leaving. Server said he will box it up. He never brought the food back. It’s probably under a heating lamp in hopes that someone else orders the same meal.

Ordered the Angus Burger and it was the size of a child’s portion. The bun was massive engulfing the burger with a pathetic slice of lettuce soaking my meat. I would rather go to a McDonald’s, the fries were burnt to a crisp, and I waited 30 minutes for this monstrosity of a $15 meal. I wouldn’t even pay $5 for this…

Cafe Verona is a mixed bag. I want to give the bartender and the waitstaff a 5 for personality. However, this is but a portion of the restaurant experience. I’ve had 2 meals at the time of this writing. One was a weekly special of Fish N’ Chips, the other was a standard Angus hamburger. So…the fish was crispy and clean, but there were 2 pieces on my plate, surrounded by great fries. And, these weren’t large pieces either. For the price of the dish – and the fact that I had to reserve this spot a day in advance – not worth it.

Outside of getting my meal a little out of order ( The soup came along with dinner, not before). The food was very good and the server was quite pleasant. Verona Cafe is the restaurant within the Verona Walk community. The surrounding area is very nice, located just outside of Marco Island. Looks like a very nice community to live in, I would definitely go back to this quaint and comfortable place.
