Great place to eat with some co-worker friends! The owners gave excellent suggestions. Got the Trio appetizer and Lamb skewers – all flavors were fantastic! Was so enthralled, forgot to take pics. Now at dessert and baklava and rice pudding is excellent!! Love the atmosphere!

Daniel and his staff were absolutely amazing to us, they were very attentive and celebrated my birthday with their delicious food and dessert. The salmon was wonderful, the fish was moist, fresh and the sauce was fabulous! Thank you so much for the great experience! Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Mediterranean restaurant serving the Alameda west side. It’s a very friendly local place with wonderful decor. The outside patio is accommodating and you will not want to leave. The menu is well priced with lots of choices. Try the beet salad for an appetizer and the lamb kebab as an entree. You will not be disappointed. Definitely will visit again to try the rest of the menu.

Flavorful Mediterranean food. Good variety for vegetarians in appetizers. There were only a few vegetarian entrees. We ordered Fainted Imam, an eggplant dish. While the preparation was exquisite, I felt that the taste was lacking compared with the other dishes we ordered as appetizers. A good dining experience overall.

We were seated promptly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Appetizers came out quickly and were very tasty. We had the chicken and lamb kabobs. Both cooked perfectly.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Food was seasoned and cooked to perfection and the staff was as attentive yet not over bearing. Highly recommend for a date night out or even a business dinner. Will be back

Had an amazing and flavorsome time at ALA! Had two yummy starters the Cigar Borek which was crispy phyllo dough filled with cheese and came with a refreshing herb dip and the Mucver which was Zucchini carrot and scallions patty’s served with a Greek dill yogurt which complimented the starter. For the entree had the Lamb Kabob which was delicious it had the best rice I had in a long time, the lamb was perfectly cooked and the pita was delicious. For desserts my table tried all three. Baklava which was crispy, sweet and delicious, Revani which was a delicious moist cake with cream on the side and Sutlac which was my favorite, a rice puddling with cinnamon and roasted hazelnuts, that I feel I could eat for breakfast it was so good. The servers were so amazing and helpful and made it an wonderful experience I won’t forget soon.

Came in on a Saturday evening. No reservations and they accommodated a fairly large party on the back patio- 5 adults and 3 kids. Our server, Daniel was outstanding! Such a kind and so super patient guy with pretty good recommendations. We ordered a lot and each plate was amazing! The Kafte and hummus was a favorite!

Great variety of food, flavors on point, the hummus trio and fresh pita was a great starter, I really liked the steak and potatoes but it was over cooked. Lamb burger was A-OK. Baklava was the perfect finish. Daniel was such a great and catering waiter. He added value to the overall dining experience.

Delicious, unpretentious, and home style cooking. The lamb was mouth watering! We ate outside and the heaters were perfect in their back patio. They were a coma dating and friendly. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a lovely evening!
