An unassuming little hole in the wall in a busy shopping center, Banzai has been serving up the most authentic and best quality sushi in Mobile since before sushi was cool. My family has been coming here for over twenty-five years and it is still as good as when they first opened. Always fresh and delicious!

Oh this place is heavenly! This is not southernized sushi by a long shot. The rolls are small but beyond delicious. Anyone with any liking of Japanese cuisine should immediately go here. They don’t have a large menu but there’s no need with the quality of the food. Their gyudon is too die for.

Really great food. This is definitely a “hole in the wall” kind of place. It’s so cute and quaint. The food is amazing. It’s the “Japanese Grandma” cooking dinner experience. It’s not going to be your Americanized Japanese food. The rolls are not flooded with rice and the kind I like to eat “as is” versus drenched in sauce. The ramen is my fave by far. Highly recommend.

This is it, The peak of food. Ive been going here for over 20 years and im still amazed on how good the food is. Ive been to famous restaurants across the country and this small Japanese restaurant makes them look like McDonald’s. Everything here is perfect i have zero complaints for anything here You cant go wrong with any item here but i would recommend the beed gyoza the miso ramen and spicy crunchy tuna roll . If the owner’s are reading this thank you so much for my favorite place on the planet.

Best sushi in the Mobile area! There’s a reason Banzai has been around for a long time. The place is small so there may be a wait on busy nights, but it’s worth it. A bit spendy compared to other sushi bars in town however the quality and flavor of the food makes it worth every penny. You’ll fight your dinner companions for the last roll!
