I arrived at 6:20pm on a 95° afternoon. They set in a booth literally right in front of door. So it was hot and I had to fight off several flies. Brought me a sweet tea instead of the requested diet coke and it was watered down. I had to request some mild salsa, which was not salsa, but another sauce. I guess I was getting what was left in the kitchen. I won’t be back. The chips were fantastic…but didn’t have the salsa. Chicken fajitas were good. But the guacamole was package like. Bought from a store.

I felt like we were being judged when we came in. We had 2 adults and 5 kids in our party. There were 3 employees at the hostess counter when we came in, giving us weird looks and giggling. Was not welcoming. Exterior signage seems shady. Interior is vibrant.

This was my first (1st) visit to Los Mezquitez and it was a nice experience. The establishment’s interior was clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The service was also pleasant. We were a party of fifteen individuals, so we arrived at the restaurant at approximately 3:30 PM. It wasn’t crowded and we were immediately seated upon our arrival.

Really good prices. The service was great! The only thing I didn’t like was the margarita. It didn’t taste like a Texas Margarita at all. It was really syrupy and came out brown which also isn’t something I’ve seen before. The food tasted good for the most part and their salsa was perfect. I’ll update my review next time I go depending on how the margarita tastes.

Wow! Just discovered this gem near food lion in a strip mall. Lot of menu choices. Food was fresh and well flavored, friendly fast service. Best part was the chips oh my! So thin and crispy. They have a whole vegetarian menu too. Will return here often! Highly recommend!! Oh, the prices are more than fair, veggie fajitas under $10 !
