Went here because I heard it was really popular. The food did not disappoint, My girlfriend got the popcorn chicken while I got the 12pc Beef Dumplings. At 1 dollar a dumpling, I can not complain! The meat was tender and delicious while the popcorn chicken was just the right crispness. Not to mention the paprika they add. Delightful! I do have to say their menu options are quite limited compared to other dumpling houses I’ve been too, but they definitely have more variety in the drinks then others. Drinks were really good too!

It’s not bad… but it’s also not that good. It’s at most pretty average and definitely overrated. I know it is a Davis staple among college students, which probably explains the quality. We walked in and were sort of ignored. We ordered pork and chive potsticked dine-in. I knew beforehand that it was gonna come in a takeout container, but why did they have to close the lid on it? Let my dumplings breathe!! They were also super greasy. The soy sauce was too sweet, and I remembered it used to have more garlic in it. It was just ok.

Dumpling house and London fish and chips shares the same location. You find DH’s items on one side of the menu, and LFS’s menu on the other. This seems like a pretty small family run business. We ordered fried dumplings and dumplings in sour. The dumplings are well stuffed. The sauce that comes with it is a bit sweeter than I expect. Overall ok experience. Everything comes with togo box. It might be better to just order togo next time…

The flavor is still good, their dumplings have slightly changed in shape/size, quite a bit smaller then they used to be. Cream cheese wantons are exactly the same though, the sweet and sour sauce is a bit more vinegary.

Overall the Dumpling House has excellent food. Picked up my daughter from work in Davis. Stopped by the DH and picked up some dumplings to celebrate Father’s Day. Nice and relax day.

The pork and chives potstickers were good! My complaint is in the general chicken order where the noodles are bland but with a kick, it’s oddly confusing. Not to mention a HAIR was in there so I couldn’t enjoy it anymore after only eating less than half
