A very cool and delicious Taproom! The shrimp tacos with their in-house salsa are fantastic. Have to try their beer as well – highly recommend the Primero. Excellent beer! Great vibes inside and outside on the patio. Good music with a couple of TVs at the bar. Really great spot!

Good spot for some margaritas in Newport Beach. We got the queso, some spicy shrimp plate, and some al pastor tacos. It was all very tasty. The outdoor patio area is a really nice place to sit outside when the weather is right. We also had two really good margaritas (cucumber and mango).

Not a Mexican food place! – it’s okay you’re in Newport Beach. However all of our food was missing seasoning. It seemed like we kept adding way too many spices & salsa to make it better. Rice – terrible!

Salty and Spicy. The place was lovely. The staff was super helpful. We had the fish tacos, the guacamole, and the fish burrito. The guacamole was quite salty. The fish tacos were really good, but very spicy. The fishes were very fresh. I could take spicy for sure. But, the tacos were way spicy. The burrito was quite large. The margarita Monday was sweet and hit the spot

Really chill place to just kick back with your friends a wide variety of Mexican food and home brews of IPA and Lagers. The staff was super friendly and they have a nice outdoor seating area where you can even bring your dogs while you eat.

We enjoyed the nachos and the tacos borrachos very much! There is comfortable outdoor seating available with heaters and lights, as well as an overall nice environment. Definitely check it out for quality food and good beer on the Balboa Peninsula.

Super cute order at the counter and grab a seat eatery for “hip” Mexican fusion style food. Service was great & the lady offered great recommendations. The Tamarindo Michelada-Mango Cart was yummy, but pretty steep on the price for the serving size. The carnitas chilaquiles verde were good & spicy. Huevos rancheros w/carnitas was also good & a nice serving size for the price. Avocado toast & cheese quesadillas were okay, very straightforward. Great outside seating options! We will be back again… There’s also a small car show that happens on Sunday mornings (which what brought us to the area) that has a chill, local vibe. Great for grabbing breakfast & checking out some beautiful cars. Not sure if it’s part of something Chihuahua Cerveza does or not, but it works.
