I will never go back as long as the new owner is there. My family and I were there last night and asked for an additional to go order for a sick family member that wanted to try the new menu. When it came time to pay we were told that the cook/owner refused to make the order because he was busy. We were there for about an hour waiting on our original food, so he has no excuse. The moderately good food is definitely not worth supporting a company that disrespects customers.

Went there for breakfast food was ok nothing fantastic it wasn’t awful just kinda middle of the road the white gravy tastes like it came from a can. Wasn’t good. The waitress we started with was a bit snobbish. But this the end we had an waitress that was very friendly and quick with the refills. Overall a middle of the road experience. But would go again for another try.

I absolutely love the food and manners of the wonderful servers. They always start good conversations and ask what’s wrong when I look sad. I’m recommending this place for future customers if they want to enjoy the best meal of their lives!

Best homemade food and the best desserts I’ve ever eaten in my life!!! The waitresses Tiffany, Christie, Olivia and Jazmine are the best. Nice, friendly atmosphere!! The owners are the best at their business! Don’t leave without eating dessert or eat dessert first. Especially the banana pudding!

This is my favorite breakfast spot in north Georgia. Drive up from Clarkesville anytime my son and I have a day off together during the week. Service is great, as are the biscuits. Always leave full and satisfied. My son loves the food here too. A+ establishment

While having my car serviced nearby in town, we stopped for lunch at BJ’s restaurant. The waitress was friendly and efficient, food was average. No complaints till the bill arrived.I noticed we were charged for two glasses of WATER, tap water, not bottled, TAP water.I have dined all over the world and never have I been charged for tap water.I would think that that fee would have been part of the cost of doing business. Next, they’ll be charging for the water to clean the dishes. Absolutely amazing….

They were overwhelmed by hundreds of extra guests in town due to a bicycle ride spending the night. They knew we were coming and even stayed open late to take advantage of the extra business . We waited an hour after we placed our order before the waitress asked us if we had gotten our food. We hadn’t. She hurried to put our dinners together, but they no longer had the ingredients we wanted. The waitress deducted half of the prices of the dinners, but we would have rather had them in a timely manner and had exactly what we ordered.

Stopped by this place while visiting a friend. It’s your hallmark small town restaurant. Open for breakfast and lunch. I stopped in for lunch and had chicken fried steak, fried green beans, french fries, and a big piece of chocolate pie for dessert. Total splurge and I came out only $10. For the price it’s excellent, the service was fast, and the place was very clean. I can’t find anything wrong with it. I will be eating here again.

Spaghetti and salad are great! I have also had the turkey club, so good. They have a menu as well as a special that consist of a meat and 2 sides. Definitely give this one a try if you find yourself in downtown Toccoa!

The country fried steak was fantastic, as was the Martha sandwich. The turnip greens and fried green beans were very good as well. When I asked for butter to put on my cornbread, though, I got “whipped spread”, so that went uneaten.
