So this place is a hodgepodge of food items. My daughter got a bento box, which she said was 10/10, pictured.

If you’re anywhere near the 1901 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, NW you MUST check out PoppaBox! They’re the best little hidden gem of the city. With an amazing breakfast platter for under $9 you get two eggs, your choice of meats (sausage, bacon, ham), and waffles. You cannot beat this combo with a stick. The staff is always friendly, professional and helpful with any questions about the menu. Check them out!

If you like Asian food and are on a budget, this is the eatery for you. The spicy pork noodle box ($11.49) was really good and the portion was very generous. I had bottled peach tea with my meal, then got a Matcha Blossom milk tea ($5.25) to drink as I walked to the nearby Textile Museum. Popular with students, it’s not very crowded if you go before noon.

This was my wife and I first time here to Poppa Box. The ambiance was delightful the food tasted authentic and the music was also delightful. When we visit DC again we will visit this restaurant again. Thank you guys for the service. Excellent selection of food.

One my go-to spots in the area. Good portions and in general a well priced place with great variety of food offered.

Stopped in for a late lunch and it wasn’t busy. Ordered a bulgogi noodle box, about $12, which came out fast and hot. Great flavor, nice level of spice, plenty of tender beef. And lots of noodles! I’m happy, I’d come back and eat here again and try something else with confidence.

The food is good but they have a habit of not fully fulfilling online orders. I’ve sent them messages requesting a refund for missing or discontinued items paid and ordered online and they’ve gone unresponded. When I brought the issue up in person I was told they couldn’t refund online orders even though I had made it through their official website. I usually go here once a week but I don’t think I’ll be returning anymore.

A cool quick to go or eat-in place with fun Asian fusion options. If you’re gluten intolerant, though, I wouldn’t suggest it as almost everything either has bread, gluten or soy sauce in it. Kind service though and wonderful green tea ice cream

It’s mediocre at best. SARKU is better IMO. Make sure you check your food before you leave. I got chicken teriyaki and asked for extra shrimp and only got chicken. I didn’t find out until I opened my food back at my desk. It wasn’t worth the 10 min walk back to correct the issue. I just won’t be back.
