Ok… first off it’s hit and miss when this place is open so good luck. When it is open the pizza is stellar…. I mean it’s really good. I visit fairly often and last night the service was horrible. The staff is friendly HOWEVER several groups were seated before my party which is a no no in my book AND it took forever to get our order. In times past this never happened. I like this pizza place but the infrequent opening times and my experience last night soured me a bit. It’s a small restaurant with a full bar and it’s popular so chances of waiting are good. Just remember that. I DO think you should try this place tho.

We loved our pizza here! Great service and food was awesome. Was reccomened by a local. Gluten free pizza was even tasty! We got the hula hula add mushroom and Dave’s big a$$. Small was a good size and only had one piece to take home. Will be back!!

We stopped in during a road trip from Texas to the Rocky Mountains. Trinidad has a nice downtown not far off the highway. It was easy to park and we enjoyed walking around a little bit. We were seated and served quickly and the food was very good. They were friendly and accommodating for my picky non-pizza eating kid. We would return again.

5 stars for a pizza joint? Yes! The pizza was delicious and not soggy. Crust was perfect and added fresh basil to both of our orders. I ordered the Paulie and my wife had the Mediterranean. We also ordered ‘half’ salads as starters and they were full size! The bartenders are awesome with great customer service. We’ll be back!!

My daughter and I had lunch there. We ordered the Paulie, a house salad, and we each had a beer. Our server was great and checked on us. We weren’t in a hurry and we were enjoying our food. We realized we were the only ones in the restaurant, and my daughter happened to see the closed sign up. We felt so bad and apologized, but they didn’t seem upset. I highly recommend Bella Luna Pizzeria. The food is great and so is the staff.

If Trinidad is the gateway to Colorado then Bella Luna is the welcome center. Pizza is America’s comfort food, and Bella Luna features this in spades. Their wood-fired oven bakes each pizza to oozing smoky perfection, exactly what is needed after a long day on the road. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the pizza chef is such a gentleman and welcoming, we felt so much at home. A cozy atmosphere with an abundant selection of beer, you can’t ask for much more. Thanks for the hospitality from a weary traveler!
