Really glad we decided to try out Tim’s. The food is fantastic. Tim and his crew are very welcoming and friendly. I’d recommend the pulled pork BBQ tacos. Prior to this I got BBQ pretty exclusively from Whole Hog, but Tim’s is every bit as good. Keep up the great work, we’ll be back!

Had a friend recommend this place, and having an afternoon to myself I decided to stop in and give it a shot. I’ve been in need of a -good- BBQ place. And holy cow. Service was excellent, friendly and fast. Great portion sizes for the pricing.

My wife and I have been living in Benton for years, but somehow never made it by Tim’s till today. I sure wish we’d visited earlier because the food is fantastic! I had the BBQ brisket sandwich, and my wife had the cheeseburger meal. Her burger was so juicy it was dripping on her plate, and the meat in mine was tender and smothered in a delightful peppery BBQ sauce.

I have had this place on my list for a year… I am now kicking myself for waiting so long. I’ll tell you what, this place is awesome! I had the brisket sandwich, baked beans and Mac N cheese. I purposely asked them to put the sauce on the side so I could taste the brisket on its own. The brisket had a great seasoning from the dry rub and a moist texture. The sauce itself was a wonderfully full flavored sauce with a little spice. The baked beans and Mac N cheese are made in house and both were great. The waitress was nice enough to remind me that I needed something sweet and I have a weakness for banana pudding. The pudding was also very good. This is food you could only hope for at home so, put your order in and feed your family. Highly recommended! Oh, sorry for not providing a picture of the banana pudding… I ate it too quick!

This is by far one of the most underrated places in Arkansas. Even though there is only one Tim’s Tavern and it is in a relatively small town (that being Benton in Saline County), I’ve seen other reviews and have been to hundreds of places in Arkansas itself and this is my favorite. The food is amazing, the waiters and waitresses are nice, the wait can be long at times, but the quality of the food really makes up for it. The desserts are amazing as well. You have a very wide variety of fried pies, all of them are delicious. The sides and appetizers are excellent as well. The atmosphere isn’t really shown as much as it could be, but that doesn’t affect the experience for me personally. If I could, I would give the atmosphere a 3.5, but I can’t. Once again though, that does not really bother me or change the experience. 10/10 and I definitely recommend.

Great food and service. Tim seems to be a great guy and can make a mean burger! Can’t wait to go back and try some other menu items!

Excellent service and chow!! Fish, Burgers or BBQ, you can’t go wrong. Frito Pie is my favorite with pulled pork & jalapeños! Burgers are beyond as well!! Great place to watch a Hog Game and sip on an ice cold beer!!! A+

Best brisket I have had in years! Well trimmed, very little fat with beautiful bark. Homemade sauces, served on the side, are always a good sign. Side dishes were wonderful. All were made from scratch and if you’re not a greens fan, you will be after tasting these. In my heart I know his homemade banana pudding is going to be delicious. I was too full to try it there, so I had to take mine to go. And every draft beer was served in a fresh chilled mug, this was above and beyond and it was appreciated!

I paid $60 for a meal for 2. The fries were 4.70 and you can see im the picture it was less than the dollar fries at McDonald’s. The $3 baked bean were also too small. The wings were dry, I requested búfalo sauce but it barely had any. I’ll never order anything from you guys again.

Food is outstanding and prices are extremely fair. My wife and I eat here about every other week or so and really enjoy the food. It’s a little slow sometimes which I don’t understand but overall quality of food is on point. I’d rather wait a little longer here for good food then sit twice as long in line at McDonald’s for something nasty. If you haven’t ate here give it a try Im certain you will not be disappointed.
