Sweet potato fries were perfect. Burger was nearly perfect. A little pink on the inside, so it wasn’t hot and juicy. Ask for no pink if that’s what you prefer. Just had water which was free.

The ordering process was quick and to the point. No greetings or small talk. I can appreciate that. The mushroom swiss burger was okay, but not cooked medium rare as ordered. The prices are on the high side for this quality of food. I’d eat here again.

Busy location in the middle of gaslamp quarter. You can forget about parking lol especially on weekend nights. The melt is a popular choice for late night food. I tried their spicy mission burger and wasn’t really a fan of the vinegary spice, but the milkshake was fantastic. The line gets really long so you might have to wait a bit for your food. Decent prices considering the area, would definitely try something else on the menu.

Wanted something quick and light before a comedy show and settled on The Melt. Just had a grilled chicken caesar salad and sweet potato fries. The salad was okay, the sweet potato fries were good, but neither really stood out. I’d definitely like to try one of their burgers since that’s what they’re more known for.
