I recently found Sol Cafe and my experience was absolutely magnificent. I did not even realize they were right there on Travis street. I always like to try new places so I stepped in. I was greeted upon entry and I informed the young lady I would need a few moments to review the menu. It didn’t take long to find some spinach enchiladas that I wanted to try. They normally come with chicken, but I asked for just the spinach since I do not eat meat. The enchiladas come with two sides and I selected the rice and the salad. Unfortunately, I could not try the beans because of the meat. I also ordered an egg and potato breakfast taco (I missed breakfast). After I placed my order, I noticed that you can customize your breakfast taco to add items like spinach, so I’ll be doing that the next time. It didn’t take long before my order was ready. Let me tell you, everything was delicious. I don’t know what they did to that rice, but it was phenomenal. I would order a pan of that rice just because. The spinach enchiladas were fantastic and the sauce was on point. I would have liked some more spinach to make it fuller since I removed the chicken. Perhaps I’ll see if they’ll substitute potatoes for the chicken the next time. The breakfast taco was more than adequate. I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to add anything the next time because I don’t think they’ll be enough room. The customer service was excellent.

Limited food options near by, so this place is a gem! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The breakfast tacos are brilliant. Only issue is limited seating. Also not open late or weekends.

Lately the food I’ve gotten here seems to like they are serving old food. First it was breakfast tacos and now I recently got nachos and all the chips were stale.

We have a corporate order that is usually 1 to 2 dozen of bacon , egg and cheese tacos. They gave me the bacon separate in a container. We stopped going for several months. We decided to try them again, I explained the previous experiences to the staff and they went out of their way to ensure no matter what we ordered they labeled each bag and taco to ensure the order was correct. The breakfast tacos are great and a good value. I hope they keep up the good customer service.

I work in the building next door to the restaurant. My coworker and I go every morning for their breakfast tacos, which are huge and generously filled with ingredients. They are absolutely delicious! We often go for lunch as well and enjoy their daily specials which always have enough food for more than one person. I highly recommend this spot. They are so friendly and welcoming and we definitely make it a point to go more often now that covid is affecting so many businesses. Please be sure to show them your patronage!

Stopped by for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast tacos were delicious, had Nachos for lunch. Really large portion size even if you get a half order. The fajita was well seasoned but parts were dry and too chewy. The cheese was natcho cheese I was expecting more of a queso type situation. Overall I would go here again, the food was well seasoned and the staff was very friendly. Definitely give this place a chance.
