We’ve had Indian cuisine across the US and Canada, from Washington to Boston, but this place was the most authentic Indian cuisine by far. The dishes were made with original recipes and pure ghee, giving them a flavor that’s hard to find even in India (and the goat was actually goat). The prices were very reasonable too. The staff, especially our server Bharat, were friendly and attentive. The owners were humble and gracious, and they chatted with us for a while. We felt right at home in the cozy and quiet atmosphere.

I went to Urban Punjab over the weekend and must say it was a wonderful experience. I ended up trying many of their dishes. I had the chicken wings for an appetizer along with the chicken tikka. The meat was absolutely tender and soft yet flavored to perfection. For the main course we ordered goat masala, butter chicken and dal makhani with lachha parantha and garlic naan. I would say I have been searching for a long time to find goat meat made so well. The goat masala reminded me of the flavors of my childhood as the meat fell off the bone and the flavors of the gravy were so elevated. I couldn’t stop going for more. Another sign of a great meal is when your naan and Parantha are so light and flaky that they complement the food perfectly. We finished the meal with some gajar ka halwa which was filled with nuts and and raisins again reminding me of my home cooked meals. This place is a real find and I would highly recommend it for people who are looking for true Punjabi food.

Went for Lunch, Great Decor, Felt Welcomed as soon as we walk in , No Halal Sign anywhere inside or out on the window , verbally confirmed with server if they serve Halal and answer was everything is Halal , everything we ate had great taste and felt fresh , Naan was amazing and Chai was Awesome , Bu default if you ask for chai they will bring masala Chai , being a Lahori i never drank masala chai and was not in mood to try to had to tell server not to add any masala and it was perfect , go there and you won’t be diss appointed

I went to this Amazing Indian/ Pakistani restaurant yesterday with my family. Food was absolutely delicious. Loved the Lamb chops and naan. Cooked right. All the drinks we had were very refreshing and tasty. Best desi food in Socal I have ever had! Ambience and customer service is awesome. MUST GO for authentic fusion taste!
