Cracker barrels food is always good and comforting. Our server was great and everything we ordered was as expected. We tried the benigns and they were pretty good, thicker than what you expect though. I always live the chicken and dumplings. Came in to cracker barrel 7:45am on a Tuesday. 10 customers, 1 hostess and 1 server. Hostess never acknowledged our existence while waiting at host stand. Stood there for 10 minutes waiting for her to say something while staring at us. Finally I asked, do we just seat ourselves? She said we have 1 server and walked away. I walked out.

Waitresses did not sweep under tables after customers left, our salt shaker was nasty and had pepper mixed with salt, waitress dropped a glass on the table behind us and it broke with glass flying everywhere and hit my leg. She didn’t acknowledge it happening and it SAT THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE! A worker came over and wiped off the top of the table,leaned the chair in the table and left it without picking up the glass and water on the floor. Also the floors are greasy and nasty. Our waitress was pretty good and we saw the other’s taking care of there areas pretty decent.

Had breakfast at 2. Arrived at 2 and was seated. Ordered but food didn’t come out until close to 3. Was slower that I thought it should be. I had Country Fried Steak and eggs, grits, and biscuits and gravy. Grits tasted off even with hot sauce in them. Did not eat them. Gravy also was sub par. Steak could have had more flavor but was eatable. Wife asked for crispy bacon… One out of three were. May be a while before I go back to this location. Walter was a good waiter.

My family and I went in for breakfast celebrating birthdays on July 21, 2024. First a tray of cold and hard biscuits were served to us and we could not eat. Forty-five minutes later our breakfast came and we had to ask for hot biscuits and gravy. Server brought two biscuits for a table of five and had to ask her to please bring enough so all of us could have a hot biscuit. Biscuits were good with jam but gravy taste like watered flour worse I have ever had at your restaurants. The chicken sausage were awful. We left very disappointed with the food that was served to us. We did leave our waitress a generous tip even though she never asked if we wanted a refill on our beverage. When three family members got home, they experienced stomach cramps with severe diarrhea for a couple of hours.

Worst Cracker Barrel experience EVER! The hostess was rude and incompetent, the server was forgetful and barely checked on us, and the table was dirty and we were given unclean utensils. The hostess was slow and non communicative. When we received a text our table was ready, she walked away with menus so we assumed we needed to follow her. She was just taking menus to the previous table she sat. She turned and we explained we thought she wanted us to follow her, and she said, “Well, I didn’t.” When we were seated, we counted 15 vacant tables, so we assumed they didn’t have enough servers on duty. Our server introduced herself then walked away without taking our drink order. When she came back 15 minutes later, she just wanted to take our drink order but we told her we were ready to order. She said, “Okay, but I’m going to warn you that we are a little backed up and it will probably be 30 minutes before you can get your food. She wasn’t kidding! It was close to 50 minutes. She brought our drinks only 3/4 full and it was mostly ice. She never checked on us to refill our drinks and we had to ask another server. Our utensils had dried food stuck on them, the floors were dirty and there were many tables that weren’t bussed. I noticed the servers were stacking plates and drinks from other tables onto empty tables. The food was the only positive I can give in this review. It was good and the portions were large. I don’t think this is typical of Cracker Barrel restaurants in general, we just won’t return to the Bush River Road location again. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! 2 THUMBS DOWN!!!

Today was an unbelievable experienceforme. I can’t praise this location enough! There was a most gracious hostess today that went above and beyond in seeing my grandson and I were seated in a very busy atmosphere. I had just left from fasting labs and feeling poorly. I didn’t get her name but she was indeed special to me. She even brought a warm biscuit to tide me over until our food was served. We ordered breakfast and was served quite soon considering the backlog of kitchen orders. The food was delicious!
