Everytime I go to lairds they’re always closed for some bogus excuse. I tried to go there for dinner on a Friday night and you expect them to be open I was there at 5:30 and there’s a sign on the door saying we are closed at 4 p.m. This is not the first time it’s happened the last time I went they said they were closed at 6 when they open till 8. They are so lazy when you phone them it goes directly to voicemail they could at least put a message that they’re closed. Unfortunately this is a common problem with customer service in the United States. Nobody wants to work, at least sirloin stockade was open… now there’s a classy operation.

Love the fish dinner. Cajan fries, white beans, slaw, and Jalapeno hush-puppies.

Overall I was disappointed in the quality of food at Laird’s BBQ. The service was great – very friendly staff. I did not go inside of the restaurant, so I am not able to comment on the cleanliness of the facility.

I love their bar b que, but when you get it to go it’s always cold, out of fridge. If you go during lunch a lot of times people will be paying their check and leaving before anyone attempts to take your order.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but that was the worst ribs I ever had. Very dry and covered in oil, I would swear they were deep fried. I couldn’t bite the meat off the bone and had to use a knife to cut it off. Ate three ribs and threw the rest out. Pulled pork was OK, tho BBQ sauce taste similar to Arby’s sauce. Passed this place many times, but finally decided to try them. I’ll keep passing this place from now on.

I say it was very good…..impressed. The hamburger tasted great it was not a pre pattie it was homemade and the beef tasted fresh . I don’t eat burgers out due to reprocessed meat yuck but this place was awesome and their BBQ wow mmm! So of you havent stopped by here u should . The ladies who were running the place was very friendly inviting just lovely and treat you like a person . I would go again and again ! Great food …..

This little gem is the best eatery among the few choices within our small town! It is conveniently located right on Hwy 641 in Puryear, TN. They offer an ample menu, including yummy Hunt brothers pizza, lunch and dinner plates complete with entrée and sides, juicy burgers and my favorite…fried catfish! My family and enjoy our traditional Friday Fish Fry night with catfish from Laird’s almost every week! Yummy!!!
