I will never every eat here again. They run the place like it’s their house. Kids running around everywhere. I should have written this years ago but instead I tried to put them behind me. The one time I ordered from them I asked for extra gravy for my egg foo young order and the lady told the cook and I could tell he had a problem with the request. Still I let it go. Noticed the cook digging into the fridge for a minute then pulling out a bucket. Didn’t think anything of it till after I got home to eat. The poison they gave me tasted rancid and unlike any egg foo young gravy I have ever received. I was sick, poised and horrified. I’m just glad I didn’t die. I just don’t understand how they stay open. To be blunt, there are plenty of other so so to bad Chinese food joints I would eat b4 revisiting this subpar hole in the wall people killers. I wish I could give a half moon instead of the one star.

I love their food. They have the best wings. I believe its because they change their oil regularly. Lol but the rice is weird. Its a brownish gravy type rice. I buy pork fried rice from China Star and get my meals from Long Fu. No delivery.

The bad part of this restaurant is the daughter who is 12 who answers the phone because the parents are in the back cooking. You have to make sure she doesn’t mess up your order. So I’m always asking her to repeat the order back to me. . Have never gotta sick or had any bad experiences with the food. The restaurant is a little run down. But overall its ok.

Scotchtown has multiple chinese restaurants that offer above average quality and freshness but this particular spot carries the flag of consistency when it comes to delicious food. I visit this location approximately two times per week and my expectations are always met. Although the appearance inside may not be the prettiest the speedy service and flavorful food will get you in a better mood.

So I never post reviews but I think this place definitely needs to be rated… the food is OK, but that’s not my complaint.. the little girl who answers the phone is such a rude little girl and is so disrespectful! Everytime I order she is extremely disrespectful and over the top rude, and I have had to ask her to please quit the attitude as she is a little girl. I have complained to her parents (the owners) as to why they let her answer when she clearly doesnt want to assist customers but nothing has changed. I can get better chinese food and better service down the road. Do not order from here.
