Had the ragin Cajun burger and the pulled pork Nachos. Amazing Match up. Wish I could’ve gone again before I left but definitely a place you can eat multiple times as well as has a very interesting menu with a great variety. The service was top notch and very helpful with selection.

This is going to be my new chill spot when I’m in town. This rib plate really hit the spot. But you definitely have to try the Ragin’ Cajun Burger. This place is welcoming, with a very friendly staff.

Cute little restaurant with killer food. We had the queso (with real homemade chips), seafood eggrolls, ragin Cajun burger, and the flat iron steak (which was so good I dug into it before I could take a decent pic). Everything was delicious, full of flavor and completely original. The service was unbeatable and the chef even came out to help people pick between one awesome dish and the next, offering samples. Great draft beer selection too! We’ll be back!

A visit with family brought us in to Lafayette and Mandez’s was recommended as a great local spot to try. Let me say, the homemade chips and queso alone are worth the trip! But every thing we had was excellent and the service was superb. You can tell that these folks care about providing a great experience when you walk in. 5 stars!!

First time to order from Mandez’s, ordered a fried fish plate, some of the narrowest fillets that I’ve ever seen, taste was fair, hush puppies were raw on the inside, cole slaw had the taste of sliced cabbage, no other flavor, in other words, it was terrible. I could have sliced my own cabbage and got something else, not sure what I would’ve gotten or how it would have tasted. I was not very impressed with my first visit, that pretty much means I will not be going back for a second visit. Just hope this review will help management and make other potential customers aware.

Food is great , service is hit or miss. So a group of friends come her for lunch from time to time and recently we came and they moved the big table from outside that would accommodate our group and we were not allowed to move two small tables together so we had to sit at three different tables. When the bill comes guess what , we are all charged automatic gratuity for a party of over 6. How is this legal you made us sit at three different tables but charges us as one and when we asked the rude waitress replied well once I put in an order with over 6 orders it’s automatic. But it’s three different tables !!!! Scammers! Doesn’t seem right and then one of the Group told the waitress she wasn’t happy with the explanation of the added gratuity and the waitress just turned around went back inside and never came back out . So advice if you come here as a group and you can’t sit at same table make sure you either know that you will be charged as 1 group or you need to make sure they don’t treat you as one group if you don’t think you should be charge as one group when you aren’t sitting together!

We came here on Monday and we rushed the place. We were a party of 20 and they weren’t overwhelmed at all. The wait staff was great and the chef who made r food did a excellent job for being a large crowd. This place has a divey feel . But good food..

Passing through town and stopped in for a quick bite. All i can say is wow! Friendly service. Family atmosphere..but the food…incredible! Duck wontons and alligator kickers for appetizers. Seared tuna tacos were exceptional. The bugers are out of this world…and huge..could feed two! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
