Love how friendly and comfy this restaurant is. The food itself was just okay, but the waiter brought this spicy avocado salsa and it legit upgraded it! Prices were great, and the staff was very attentive! Definitely worth the stop

Good place to fill up at a fair price. The food came out quick and hot. The Lengua was juicy & tender but not much depth. Burritos/chimichangas were large and filling. Was thrown off by the american/velveta? cheese in them. They were filled about 60% rice, would’ve loved more beans and meat. I would eat here again but think I’ll try more tacos next time.

After searching far and wide for Menudo/Pozole, we asked one of the workers at another Mexican restaurant and he pointed us to Taqueria Guerrero!!

This place is a gem!! Easy to get to, the food is authentic and delicious (and comes out nice and hot), the service was quick, and our waiter was awesome. The meat was so tender and flavorful for each of the 3 mains we ordered, and the lime that came with the tacos was huge and juicy. Guacamole had actual chunks of avocado. Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with this unassuming but authentic Mexican restaurant. They have a menu offering a good variety of authentic Mexican dishes and even had chili relleno, which is hard to find here. Our server was cute but a little shy, however she was attentive and did a great job. I had three tacos al pastor, which is pork cooked with pineapple. This pork might be the best in town and believe me i know my tacos. The pork was cut like carnitas, but much more taste and tenderness. Three most excellent tacos for $10…phenomenal price. My friend had two humongous tamales with rice and beans. She could only eat one, but left no doubt that she too loved Tacquerita Guerrero’ s food. Tacqueria Guerro is a well-kept secret tucked away on N. Carrollton down from Venezia. Do your taste buds a favor and check out this authentic Mexican restaurant. 10 *s.

Memory lane: Come here for the real, authentic deal. Not sorry, I have to say it. This place more than deserves its hype. It actually tastes very good. When I used to live in NOLA, I used to come here walk past Juan’s Flying Burritos and get steak burritos from this place every week.

You want some delicious Authentic Mexican food this is where it’s at. Great for lunch. Has all the basics burritos tacos, tortas, enchiladas, and their fajitas are amazing. Fajitas are enough to split between two people. If your in the mid city area skip Juan’s flying burrito and falipes this is the spot to go. And you know this place is legit when they sell real fruit popsicles at the register.

To be frank, the food has never been high quality, but that’s never been why I come here. It’s always been a pretty good deal for what you get. But now after $20 for a Coke, beans/rice and 3 tiny and thoroughly underwhelming beef enchiladas I can’t say it’s worth it anymore. You can do better for less.
