First time visiting Jakeeno’s and it was really good. Their pizza feels nostalgic for the thin crust of an old school pizzeria. The pizza (beef onion Canadian bacon) was delicious and only needed a touch of salt, and the Caesar’s salad was solid and a perfect side dish. I hope to one day dine-in and try more of their pasta menu. Will definitely go back!

Stellar service, amazing waitress. The indoor size is a bit small but cozy! This is a family friendly place. Our table ordered pastas and they all were delicious. The rigatoni was heaping. They serve beer bottles and drafts and wine. Dessert is also available. There is off-street parking, if needed. I was told there is outdoor seating when weather permits and there appeared to be a back patio door.

I live really close to jakeenos and i order it once in a blue moon as a way to treat myself. I don’t know who was in the kitchen on Thursday but holy cow my pizza came out so so good and the wings were perfect. I also tried the cookies for the first time which I may have eaten 4 of on the walk home.

Nice to go back with the dining room open. Same great food, friendly service. Glad Jakeeno’s survived Covid, a little neighborhood gem with hearty ‘red sauce’ Italian food. Will definitely be back.

As a first timer, I wasn’t sure what to expect of Jakeeno’s. From the pictures online it reminded me of something you’d se in NYC…small, but amazing food. And that’s exactly what it was! It’s absolutely adorable, small, good vibes, and cozy. Family friendly, good for dates, and even to eat by yourself! Both the pizza and pasta are delicious and their menu has a good variety. They have a good beer and soda selection as well. It was a lovely experience and I will definitely be visiting again.

Jakeenos has the best pizza in South Minneapolis. Their thin crust is perfect, pizza sauce is nicely spiced, and a nice selection of specialty pizzas, or you can design your own. Delivery time is reasonable and the service is always friendly.
