If there was less than 1 star, this would get it. I could have had a better meal, quality and size for the price in the hood of the Bronx NY. I ordered vegetable lo mein, mixed vegetables in garlic sauce. It was like the boiled the vegetables in oil then scooped it in a ridiculously small placed container for the price of $8-9. There was no flavor whatsoever, either the mixed vegetables or the lo mein. I paid $20, plus a $5 tip. For garbage. And …. my stomach hurts.

This restaurant is next to a busy city street, parking sucks. You’ll have to pay meter to park: 25 cents for 30 mins. I asked the Chinese lady for restrooms and she looked at me as if I had uttered the most ridiculous thing ever! “NO!”she said. Waiting was not long, and the food was tasteless. I was disappointed when I asked for salt. She came back with salt in a spoon. Ridiculous!! If you plan on getting Chinese food here, take away is perhaps the best option.

My customers wanted this place for lunch so that’s what we ordered. They ordered and I called in to add on my order no issues. I went to pick up the food and it was closed off from the counter to where customers stood. The food was ready and I paid $55 plus a $2 service charge for using credit card. The restaurant got everything right and the office was delighted with their meals. I ordered mixed vegetables and brown rice. It was just ok, wasn’t the best tasting.

The food here is simple. It’s not bad but not great. The reason for the 2 stars is their work ethics. I realize times are tough for all of us but I would’ve appreciated the transparency. After I received my food and reviewed the bill, I saw a $2.00 delivery charge. When I had asked for a little extra soy sauce and they never mentioned it would be a $1.00 extra and lastly I saw a “service fee” of $1.77 (not to be confused with the sales tax of $2.79) which I’m assuming is the a charge for paying by credit card. This will be the last time I’ll order from there as they are not the only Chinese food restaurant around and like I said, the food isn’t THAT great.

Usually good but this time, food tasted off. My wife had the shrimp and broccoli and the shrimp had a very fishy smell when we opened the container. She just ate one. Weird texture and color. My chicken in my kung Pao was tough too. The veggies had a bad aftertaste, like a chemical taste. As I said, usually good but, this time, I’m surprised how bad everything was. I had to throw everything out. My wife and I felt a little queasy too afterwards. Nothing serious but, thank God we didn’t finish all the food. Very disappointed. I can’t chance ordering from here again, time to find a new spot.
