A hidden gem! Delicious Korean restaurant counter inside of the Lotte grocery store with Korean barbecue, soups/stews, dumplings, rice dishes, Korean fried chicken, and more. We ordered the spicy pork, pan fried dumplings, and seafood scallion pancake. The food was incredible and gives other, fancier restaurants a run for their money. Wow. Can’t wait to go back!

Had high hopes coming here only to be disappointed in their food. We ordered the yukaejanh, sullongtang and seafood tofu soup with mackerel fish. All the soups were bland and tasted like water. All lacked in flavor but had a good amount of veggies/meat in it. The mackerel was on the other hand good and cooked well. Although the food was mediocre, the Staff were super friendly and attentive.

Such a great place for reasonably priced and delicious Korean food! When we don’t feel like eating in the restaurant this is our go to for pickup. The seafood soondubu is generously portioned and fried chicken wings are so much better priced than Bonchon’s! Definitely order via their website to ensure order accuracy, we called in once to order and they got one of the dishes mixed up.

Food is tasty! We had the seafood stew (flavorful!) and the fried chicken (medium spicy and garlic soy). The medium spicy was a bit thick and more on the sweeter side. Service was great. We’ll come back for more.

This was a mediocre experience. We set our hopes so high after seeing 4.8 rating on door dash but we were let down. We ordered jokbal, jajanmyun, and fried beef dumplings through doordash. We have ordered from other Korean restaurants before, and considering the price here, we thought bangchan would be included but it was not included here. Beware the jokbal is served cold. The jajanmyun was edible at best, and had an odd aftertaste. The fried beef dumplings were best of all three, and even pales in comparison to other places.

We first time went Aery Sushi Restaurant inside the Lotter supermarket at Gaithersburg MD. WE ordered Kimchi Pork Stew, California Rolls, Salmon Roll, Black Bean Noodles and Blugogi beef slice, those were so tasty . There are a lot of different dish that we will go back to try them.

Love Aery! Was a long-time customer of Ichiban and was thrilled to see when Aery opened up, adding a great local option for Korean food that quickly rose to the top of our list of favorites. The prices are more than reasonable for the top notch variety and quality of food you can get. My wife and I are particularly fond of the spicy stews and grilled fish combos, and my kids love the bone broth soup. Sometimes we want raw fish, and the sashimi rice/salad bowl always delivers, while their sushi roll platters are perfect for larger gatherings. Their fried chicken never fails either. They have been and will continue to be our go-to for most of our Korean cravings since they opened. There’s something for everyone at Aery!
