Wasn’t going to pay the prices of those waterfront restaurants and found this gem. The Clam chowder was to die for. My friend had the seafood casserole? Came baked in a bowl. It was so good. The cod, scallops…. I had a lobster roll – not a big one but still reasonably priced and very good. Highly recommend. Its a little tricky getting there. Just off the traffic circle.

Nice comfortable restaurant where you would be fine ordering a burger or an upscale seafood plate. While there is a full bar it seems like a “food forward” establishment. The hostess thanked us for coming and had our table set up before we arrive. Our waitperson, Liz, was friendly and efficient, food was served quickly. Portions were more than ample and well prepared. We visit Gloucester annually and hope to dine here next year.

The atmosphere and the food was wonderful and lovely! However, when it came time to pay we gave the waitress our two card’s & cash; there were three of us. She processed the wrong bill on one card and that in turn messed up another bill. When asked if she could refund the money from the incorrect bill she said it wasn’t her problem and that also her manager wasn’t around to fix it and then to rectify it, to just give the missing money back to our friend. I understand she made a mistake and these things happen sometimes but to make it our problem and our fault essentially left a bad taste in our mouth.

Expensive for the portion size and price. While the food quality was good to very good, the fried seafood combo was about half the size of a Causeway’s. This was for take-out and the interior looked good (anything was better than the most depressing Friendly’s ever run that use to be here) but also nicer finish than similar places around.

Long lines at the more known seafood restaurants in Gloucester redirected us to this establishment, and my are we glad they did!! Best seafood and main entrees, appetizers, sandwich and salad selections! Nice bar area. Great ambiance with raised tables and chairs and 2 tv screens. The owner came to the tables to see if we were enjoying our meal and if there was anything he could do. He was very sincere and engaging. Friendly and accomadating wait staff. Very short wait for a table. Wonderful time! We’ll frequent this restaurant more often!! Thank you!!

Four of us went, we had haddock chowder, smash burger, shrimp scampi, tri plate of seafood and fried clams. Also had cocktails. No one complained, we all loved what we ordered and the staff was great!
