Visited this establishment for dinner today and was pleased with the ambience, menu, and service we received. Although we walked in without a reservation, We were prompted greeted and seated by the hostess. Our server, Lala was nice and had an extensive knowledge of the menu. She did let us know that although the scallop sushi was in the menu, it was not available for purchase. Which I thought was odd, because she said it was a popular item and they had another scallop dish. I got the ribs and coconut rice. It was a nice portion, so I took some home. My friends got sushi and they said it was good and fresh. The deviled eggs were delicious. We will be back to try more menu items.

Well, my girls and I decided to eat at this spot and try their food. Their food has Southern vibes with Asian inspiration tied together. Let me tell you what a wonderful taste experience. Our waitress was great she did a great job explaining options on the menu and gave wonderful recommendations. They have a sushi bar for all you sushi lovers out there, an array of cocktails and drinks as well. For an appetizer, we ended up trying the deviled egg experience. You have the deviled egg filling, and you get to choose another filling from tuna poke, caviar, and bacon jam. We ended up choosing the bacon jam. This was different, but in a good way, I would have never thought of putting bacon jam on my deviled egg, just sayin. Dont worry about the radishes those are to help clear your pallete to help enhance your experience, especially if you chose multiple fillings. For dinner, I ended up getting the Bourbon Miso Black Cod. The cod was seared to perfection and the crispy texture was by far the best, under the cod is creamy cheddar stone ground grits that was made to perfection but what impressed me the most was the collard kimchi!!!! Say what, yep collard kimchi honey. It was soooo good. I would highly recommend this dish for sure.

Went here for brunch. Waiter was incredibly helpful and nice. Owner came over to talk with us. Very friendly and welcoming The food was ok. I had the French Toast. It was pretty dry and just seemed like a stack of bread. Others had the Bento Box, bacon had a very smokey taste, which no one seemed to like. Prices were eh in today’s economy. Atmosphere is very trendy, modernesque. A little hard to find, but not bad. They did need our table after we ate, but offered us a complimentary glass of champagne to continue our conversation. Which was fine. Hope the food improves, as it does have potential and unique dishes.

Absolutely delicious…if you eating Japanese fusion cuisine and you haven’t eaten here reserve a table immediately. It’s a complete vibe. Service, menu choices, cocktails, ambience… 10s across the board. I had an Asian pear infused cocktail, pork belly parpedell pasta dish, mussels in a crawfish red pepper tomato broth, this sandwich (don’t remember name see pic), the devil egg experience, and scallop sushi. Everything was so tantalizing to the taste buds! Why you still reading…go on and book a table.

Hands down, still a great experience. I used to recommend this restaurant to all my guests in the airport. I’m so glad I don’t have to be in the airport anymore to get it.

We visited this black owned establishment on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. I made a reservation online same evening prior to with no issue. They have a One Flew South location at the Atlanta airport also which has great food. It was very difficult to find this place and we ended up having to park at a parking lot that was a little walk from the place. There is some side street parking, but it is probably going to be taken. I had to call the restaurant and ask them where they were located and was informed they are directly next door to Shake Shack. I just so happened to look to my right and I saw the place down under the street directly on the Beltline. We had to go down into the Beltline area via a ramp to get to the place. Upon arrival it was clean, modern, and had a new age restaurant/bar feel. The receptionist was nice and validated our reservation which allowed us to be seated right away. We chose to sit indoors, but there were a good amount of people sitting outdoors. They have a nice patio area with a roof covering, huge umbrellas, and patio lights. We felt it was too hot to sit outdoors. Our waitress Alyssa was nice and professional and assisted us with the menu. This menu is different from the menu in the airport, but they still have sushi options like the other location. We ordered the following items: the deviled egg experience with bacon jam, duck flatbread, grilled short ribs, forbidden rice pudding, and grow a pear cocktail. The grow a pear cocktail was refreshingly sweet and had a nice presentation in the oversized martini glass. It definitely reminded me of a lemon drop just with a pear essence instead. The deviled egg experience wasn’t what we were expecting. All of the ingredients are separate and you have to make the deviled eggs yourself. These were delicious once we assembled them with rich egg chives filling and the savory jerky like bacon jam to complement. The plate also included radish, black salt, and crumble topping. The duck flatbread was enough to share if you aren’t that hungry. Otherwise it’s a great portion size for a hungry person. The pizza was savory, seasoned well, and had great toppings including succulent duck! The grilled short ribs had a tough texture and were difficult to eat. Also they had a lot of bone, but they really weren’t tender at all. Short ribs are supposed to be fall off the bone good. I definitely would not recommend these at all. It’s unfortunate because my boyfriend was torn between getting the short ribs and the chicken katsu. The chicken katsu probably would’ve been a better option to be honest. The coconut fried rice the short ribs came with was seasoned well and fried crisply to perfection into cubes. The forbidden rice pudding was not good at all. We initially wanted the midnight eclipse which is a cake. They didn’t have it which I don’t understand because this was a Tuesday evening and it wasn’t jam packed. The rice pudding had a looser consistency than I’m used to with rice pudding. Also it tasted like it had a chocolatey flavor which doesn’t really work well for me with rice pudding. We didn’t even finish it because we disliked it that much. I wouldn’t recommend it. We probably should’ve just skipped dessert to be honest. I did use the restroom here and I was able to use it with no issues since it was nice and clean. The business also has a 100 health score which is excellent. I know it’s a new business so that’s probably why their score is so high so hopefully they will be able to maintain that in the A range. Overall I felt the experience was just ok. I didn’t feel this restaurant was anything to write home and the food and drinks are quite pricy. In my opinion I think like many restaurants they want to cater to their white clientele so some items just aren’t as good as they could be from a texture standpoint especially, but priced at a high threshold. I don’t not recommend this place, but I won’t be returning. I would however advise that patrons try the location in the airport because they have some great food options such as the open face meatloaf sandwich.

The food was pretty good but the server spilled soy sauce on the table, left and never came to wipe it up. We came at a time when it was not busy yet she could not remember what the four people at our table ordered to drink. She didn’t refill our waters until I had to ask. I had to ask another Sever to get our check for us. I will say the general manager was very welcoming and sweet. This place needs some service training and could be a good spot. You’d expect for the price the service would be top tier but unfortunately was not the case.

I only tried sushi but Publix sushi is better than this. Sushi rice was dry, doesn’t feel like sushi rice. Service was great. Not worth the money for the food. The interior lights were off, bright light streaming down makes it less intimate for dinner. They have been around for a year + but I found them slow most of the time whenever I walk by. Now I see why.

Date night on the Beltline – and OFS did not disappoint. The food was incredible!! To start I had “The Golden Ticket” cocktail, it was soooo good! For an app, we got the deviled egg experience with bacon topping – it was freaking delicious! Entrees were the Drunken Chicken and the Miso Cod – both were fantastic. We could tell that they were under-staffed when we arrived – but everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even comped a round of cocktails. Definitely going back!!
