What you get here is … Chicken Fingers. Chicken Fingers and Chicken Fingers. No hamburgers or any other alternative entree. Closest thing would be the chicken sandwich. Of course French fries, slaw and a slice of Texas Toast. There is something to be said about concentrating on one thing and that’s just what they do. Hot and tender. You will have to wait a minute or two if you dine in. In addition to their signature sauce, you can get ranch and of course ketchup. Nice to see they use Heinz and not the cheap stuff.

My first time and it was good. It reminded me of Zaxby’s a little but without the too die for taste. Their batter is different from theirs. Also the slaw was basic and nothing fancy. It was room temp so I think a little colder would be better. The fries were pretty good regular fries and the 9.99 box doesn’t come with a drink which it should have. I think it should tho. The food is a lil bland so don’t expect anything spectacular. If Zaxby’s is closed, this would then be my next stop.

I usually go to the Guthrie’s at Dexter, now I see why…I asked for a snack but didn’t know that a snack would yield me pretty much chicken nugget sized chicken tenders. One car had just left the drive thru before I ordered. This location doesn’t get much business but I had to wait longer than expected to get home to chicken nugget sized chicken tenders. Huge disappointment. Won’t be back to this location.

On August 23, 2023, I called to spoke the manager, (female Caucasian or Mexican), anyway, I told her , well, at first walk in for an orders two black females was doing great service and took the orders home and taste the fries was NOT done, and I called same day told her (manager Caucasian or Mexican) that, the fries not done completely and I told also, I wasn’t trying to be rude to her, y’all can’t cook fries, chicken,..etcs. It best for black sisters and brothers do the cooking because last time I went in to place my order I saw black people in the back and it was “PERFECT!”

Walked in at 2pm on Friday, yesterday. Was greeted by a snarling angry young lady who basically said she didn t care about us. Quickly, an older lady came from the back who rescued us. The older lady, Violet, was great. Apologized for the younger woman and took great care of us. I have been to a bunch of Guthries and friendly service is one of their hallmarks. Chicken better than any other finger place and that is all they serve, which is cool.

Food was great, the fries were a bit crunchier than I would like but otherwise good. The front of house staff seemed lazy and unaware. When I went back up to the counter to get a refill of water the only staff member in sight was sitting in the lobby on her phone, I waited what seemed to be almost 5 minutes with no avail. I had to reach behind the counter and fill up my water myself because there was no one at the counter. After this I was met with a very rude remark from the worker sitting in the lobby who i then realized had been staring at me the whole time saying, “you are absolutely not allowed to do that.” To which I replied, “maybe if you weren’t sitting down instead of doing your job I wouldn’t have had to” otherwise nice restaurant with hot fresh chicken.

Oh, wow. This was my first visit ever and it will NOT be my last one. The restaurant does chicken tenders ONLY and mine were scrumptious, tender, and seasoned just right. They were juicy, cooked but fried hard and tasty. My fries were lightly seasoned and delicious. Both my tenders and fries were straight from the fryer hot and ready to enjoy; which I did. The restaurant clerk was friendly, courteous and polite. There wasn’t a combo with a beverage included so be ready for a pricey soda if you desire one. All in all, I will go again!

Drive thru order for Family Bucket. Of the 25 fried chicken tenders only 5 were over half inch long. Many small pieces counted as 1 tender. Not fair amount of normal sized chicken tenders in the bucket.Fries were cold.

Not Raising Caine! We couldn’t wait to try this place out to see if it would compare to Raising Caine. The fries taste like they redropped in the grease. The customer service was horrible and they just opened.

We tried Guthrie’s in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where they’re extremely popular. Memphis seems to not have really discovered them yet- but their chicken tenders are delicious and a bucket is perfect to share while watching a big game!
