Happened to be in this neighborhood and remembered I had eaten here once about 25 years ago, so I stopped in for a quick breakfast and was surprised at how good it was. The inside is a bit dated, but even though all the tables were full, the noise level was very low — easy to enjoy a conversation. The staff was very friendly and everyone was working hard to ensure the customers were taken care of. The western omelette I had was cooked perfectly — probably one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had, and the menu prices were very reasonable. I’ll definitely be returning to The Train Stop.

Train Stop Restaurant has Great Customer Service and has plenty of regular returning customers that as soon as the returning customer walks into the business that the staff know what the customer is already drinking to start off there dine in experience.

Awesome old school greasy spoon. I watched the grill man make about 6 breakfasts while I waited for my cheesesteak. The french toast looked really good. He hand slices each potato as he gets an order for home fries. Cheese steak was equivalent of a popi store. $7.95 w/mushrooms. If your friends want greasy spoon breakfast and you have to have a cheesesteak, Gotta Stop at the Train Stop!!

Tried this place a couple days ago and it was so good! The greek omelette was very well presented and tasted great. The blueberry pancakes are very good as well. The home fries are perfect! Nicely seasoned and cut. Overall this place is a nice stop for an easy yet traditional breakfast place.
