The food was outstanding. I had enchiladas al pastor which was delicious. My sister had shrimp quesadillas and said it was the best she ever had. The margaritas weren’t perfect. But the friendly staff did their best to make up for that. I will definitely eat there again!

Ok, so we tried out the restaurant tonight and I can honestly say I’m not impressed. The salsa was so bland, but after adding our own salt it got better. The taco’s too were bland. Need to add some seasoning to the “marinated steak” maybe adding a little lime and cilantro may help.. My sister got the nachos and I must say they were pretty good after eating my meal. It had some flavor. The downside for me was the chips were a little burnt for me. If I do return it will be for one of their specials on fajitas and drinks. I heard the fajitas were pretty good from the other patrons.

I have to laugh at some of the one-star reviews posted here. It really is an indictment of the average American’s palate. For once, a Tex-Mex restaurant is not drowning their food in salt and people complain. Personally, I prefer to taste the subtler flavors of the food. And for that reason, I give Cafe de Olivos five-stars.

I called my order into the restaurant and when I got there, I had to wait an additional 25 minutes for my food. The “host” said little to me and never explained to me why my food took so long. While I was waiting I heard the sounds of a microwave being used. I lost all hope at that moment. When I finally got to eat my food it was ice cold. The shredded chicken was dry and stiff and it poked at my gums. The churros tasted frozen and the salsa was bland. This was my first and only experience with this restaurant.

First time ever and last time. Ordered chicken quesadillas and didn’t like flavor. Black beans were completely pureed and not good. Spanish rice had sweet peas in it, Chips and salsa were ok.

I’ve been twice since they opened and both times were great. The steak fajitas and taco salad were great. The staff was pleasant too.

I tried the food but will not return. The food was not tastefu bland . Be aware when ordering they will charge extra for items. I ordered the toco salad the waitress asked if I want grilled or shredded chicken, when I got my receipt I was charged for the chicken. She never said there was a charge for the chicken. The same a extra charge when I ordered the chimichanga.

Bland food, slow service. Fish tacos looked like they were fish sticks. There’s plenty of generic Mexican places in town, and this one falls in with the most mediocre of them. Really wanted to like it despite the negative reviews, but I think sadly they’re accurate.
