Bar first, restaurant second. Food is pretty good, service is tolerable, portions are decent.

The food was quite good, had most of that authentic Cajun taste. It’s very noisy if you’re just going there for food, but imho, worth it. The atmosphere really was great. And from what I saw, it’s apparently part of the Denver ghost tours.

First visit here and we were very impressed. Everything we ordered was a hit. Pics uploaded. Service was great! Food came out fast and portions were a good size. Seating is limited so make a reservation. Parking is always a pain downtown Denver but the location good.

Great food! Got a chance to taste the shrimp PoBoy, fried catfish plate with etouffee, bbq shrimp mac and cheese, hush puppies, bread pudding and key lime pie. All good was great, the highlights for me were the fried catfish, bbq shrimp mac and cheese (fantastic!!), and the key lime pie. The key lime pie was homemade and wonderful!! I wish I had gotten better pictures of the fabulous food.

The food was absolutely delicious! Denver doesn’t disappoint, however I was almost bamboozled into paying over $10 in fees because the QR menu and the physical menu differs. The waitress I would not recommend, very slow.. cheerful with the men, mundane with women “PM downstairs B” she didn’t bring all the shots but stated she rang them up already?!?! After I asked for my check twice. Long story short the food was well worth it. Service was not.

Good Gumbo, good hurricane. Hurricane’s in particular have a tendency to be oversweet, cheap liquored gut rot. Was nice to have one paying actual homage to the original delicious drink. I enjoyed my gumbo as well and service was pleasant.

Hello, I ordered the blackened catfish, dirty rice and gumbo. The fish and the gumbo was good, the rice was ok but lukewarm. The bartender came off rude at first but then he came to be ok, we had a brief funny conversation. I would definitely eat here again. The spicy margarita was very good too. May 2023.

Such delicious food and great service! The macaroni and cheese appetizer was extremely cheesy. The etouffee had just the right spice. And great catfish and cocktails!

Really tasty food, cozy and interesting decor and very attentive service. Order fried catfish with etouffe and hush puppies and then finish with key lime pie, we tried all kinds of things, but those were the home runs!

Nola Jane hosted a private party for about 100 of us. They went all out — food, service, atmosphere. Before we had the party, we sampled about 70% of the things on the menu, and they were all excellent. There is a laid back vibe here and it makes you feel at home, but don’t think that the food is laid back — it’s Fat Tuesday, everyday — and it’s goooood!
