Living in McCormick Ranch has allowed us to find some hidden treasures. The Pinion Grill in the McCormick is a nice place to enjoy some of Scottsdale scenery. The patio has done of the must beautiful vistas overlooking the lake at McCormick Golf Club. The only negative is the lack of a happy hour. Homero event manager and Antonio the bartender filled us in on the event scene at the hotel and in the neighborhood. Come at sunset.

Lovely outdoor seating area with stunning views. We realized quickly into our visit that there was really only one server who was running around trying to take care of tables both inside and outside. She was very professional and kind and was clearly doing her best to appease everyone. We are sympathetic to staffing issues and weren’t in a rush so we didn’t say anything when it took a while to receive our food and the check. However, if you’re in a rush or have limited time, you may need to consider other options.

Very nice place. The service was slow, but just not enough staff probably. They also closed at 10pm on a Saturday which was probably posted, but was surprising for a Saturday night. We met some friends to hang out and catch up, that were staying there, not realizing the hours. Still a very nice place, just plan accordingly and don’t be in a rush.
