Higher end mexican resturant and bar. Has great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. With pleasant views (see pictures)The food was served with a beautiful presentation (see pictures) and tasted great. The bar has an extensive selection of tequilas. We had desert which was also excelent.

Overall a good experience…The food was delicious! The only disappointment was the amount of flies in the restaurant. There were at least 5-6 that kept hovering around our table. We had to constantly wave them away so they wouldn’t land on our food. Made for a very difficult meal.

I didn’t think I could find good Mexican food in this area, but this place is Amazing! food was delicious and a decent price. The presentation was nice and the service was very friendly. The location was very nice, which I usually don’t think about, but they had the wall open and you could feel the breeze from outside, it was a great day.

The food at Tacos el Tio was amazing! I had the shrimp tacos and they were very tasty and seasoned well. I also have to give a shout out to our waitress, Sam! She was a delight and truly made our experience special while dining at Tacos el Tio. She was one of the best servers I ever had! If you visit Tacos el Tio, I would definitely request to have her as your waitress if possible.

First time coming here and it was okay last minute idea my sister suggested. When we first arrived around 9:02pm there was no hostess around and we waited a good 13 minutes which was uncalled for, at least one of the ladies that was upfront greeted us and asked how our day was interacted with us while we waited then she finally sat us at a booth to be seated I guess since the hostess wasn’t anywhere around. I ordered the corn patty not sure exactly what it was called on the menu with chorizo it was really good minus the corn patty it was a lot of breading and it made me full faster. The chips and salsa they give you is really good the green salsa I’m talking about. I ordered a side of Mexican rice really really good I loved it. My sister ordered a coconut mojito it was okay not that strong of a drink and it tasted to minty for her. I got a Mango Margarita it was really delicious but the glass was small not like a regular margarita glass I’m used to for about $9.50.

I’ll start with the positive part of the experience. My group was a party of three. We were sat right away. The server was very nice and attentive until we needed to pay our bill. The salsa tasted like someone dumped salt in it before it came to the table. The chip quality has definitely changed. They tasted stale. I had a Mahi taco and it was dry and overcooked. The salad that was ordered barely had anything on it, it even lacked lettuce. We each had two margaritas each, and they had barely, if any, tequila in them. I am a bartender myself with over 10 years experience so I’m not just someone saying it was a weak drink. To top that off, all three of us became violently sick shortly after leaving the restaurant. I used to enjoy this place. I am a local who recently moved out of state and when I come to visit, I like going there. I’m not sure what changed. We had a $135 check and became ill from their food. Do not recommend.
