We went in when they opened at 4 pm for an early dinner, so we were the first ones there. The salsa had just a little kick, which is something we like. We did a margarita flight, they were all good but the blueberry lavender really stood out. The food was very good all around, and the refried beans and rice stood out having more flavor than in most places we have been. Fried ice cream was also a nice treat.

Very changed over the last few years since I was here last. Many of my favorite food items are gone and the menu is smaller. Now just another Tex-Mex joint catering to the nearby college crowd featuring cheap beer and well drinks.

Worst service I’ve ever received in the Bangor area. The downstairs area was all college kids, while upstairs is where they sat the families/people there to eat and not just drink. We had to wait 45 mins for a table while the college aged servers let all their friends in right away “this one time”…once seated we had to continue to flag down a server as we waited almost 30 mins for some one to take our order and all the upstairs tables were complaining about no one coming around. I would understand if this was because of staffing, but At any given time there were 2-3 servers in the corner texting and chatting (who were not on break, just standing to the side). Drinks were weak food was old and dried out.

Amazing margaritas lol. But also HUGE portions. We ate and loved everything. Tacos del mar stole the show. Enchiladas and burrito portions are good for 3 at least.

Good food, nice staff. Easy parking behind the building in city lot. Many other places to visit nextdoor. They seemed pretty busy but didn’t take long to get our food. Staff stopped by to check on things, but didn’t pester us. Our very shy waitress was also very nice and did a good job.

Paid $60 for three burritos, we only got two of them and one of them is half the size of the other, AND they forgot to give us our 3rd burrito. The two burritos in the photo are the same burrito by the way Definitely avoid this place for takeout.

I usually don’t leave reviews but people be aware I would give this place no stars if I could. By far one of the worst places I have ever eaten at. Definitely not worth the price. Not to mention the server bringing us our plate that was boiling hot what just seemed that the whole plate of food was placed in the microwave.
