We didn’t feel out of place being the only white persons in the place. The woman at the counter was very helpful in helping us choose what to eat and made good suggestions. The combo platter was amazing with an entire fruit salad.

What a gem. Haven’t had much Mediterranean cuisine lately and I was eager to try, as well as curious to see an eatery with a full 5 star review. It took a little while to locate since we didn’t understand the locale/address but we persevered and the excursion was well worth it. Btw, it’s on the fourth floor.

The Ambiance is good. Happy that Somali people are thinking about that for once but don’t even waste your money here. I went in to check out the place and ordered tea . I was charged $8.86 for two cups . Seems pricey for a shah so perhaps thought it might be good shah with cardamon, milk and such . Literally saw the man pour hot water , tea bag and sugar in the cup . It tasted just like water and was baffled that he had so much courage to offer me warm water for 9 bucks. Also Same dirty hands that were cleaning a table picked up cookies and offered it to me . Yuck I politely declined. Don’t waste your money on the beverages.

This is by far the restaurant in the Twin city so fresh and flavorful and the owner and his wife are so kind you just feel so welcomed as soon as you walk in best customer service as well. I would recommend 10/10.

La Mama’s was delicious and the owner Arafee was super sweet! It’s off in the cut but so worth the find! The lamb was fall off the bone tender, veggies crispy and no matter which sauce you get it will must add to the dish. Great with or without the sauce! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
