We were craving ramen, so we decided to try something new by ordering via Postmates. Quite honestly, I didn’t even know it was new or existed, but prices were reasonable and the selection was right up our alley in terms of our cravings. Plus, it was available on Postmates for delivery, so the work week wasn’t interrupted for a pick up.

Food was not bad. Price was okay. Service not great. Ordered appetizers, one of them came. No plates given, just put on table and walked away. Then the meals came. Then the other appetizer. So basically, pretty good food with poor service. I had the hamburger curry. Pretty good. With all the amazing options for food in this area, I’ll not likely be back here for a while.

I ordered the tonkatsu miso ramen with the takoyaki. Broth was too salty for my liking, it did provide flavor to the bland noodles but you just can’t enjoy the broth on its own. The pork was dry and chewy….was really obvious they reheated the meat once too often. The takoyaki was the worst I’ve had. Looked like it was frozen and then warmed up in an oven….the outside was hard and crunchy, as soon as you bite into it the inside is almost hollow with a mushy watery batter in the middle. Place wasn’t crowded and now I know why. I will look for a different ramen shop.

Solid Ramen Shop, although there aren’t too many choices, the Ramen flavors they have is strong and rich in flavor. You have many choices for sides and toppings with the Chashu meat being very tender. The noodles, although pretty Al dente is still soft enough to be chewy and grab the flavors of the broth with each slurp.

Their broth lacks much depth to it, and they use a lot of other bases to cut down on how much they have to put in on top of that. The tonkotsu miso was VERY heavy on the miso, and the tonkotsu black really needed the black garlic oil to help out with flavor. Portion sizes are small too(especially the noodles, which are okay quality. Decent texture and chew), and they don’t give many toppings(half an egg, 2 pieces of chashu, and some bean sprouts and seaweed). Gyoza were quite small had had very little flavor or filling.

the difference gap is too big compared to Marufuku when it’s similarly priced

They only allow takeouts for now. I take the UberEats deal which let me get ramen + octopus for only $15 so it’s a sweet deal.

The ramen is quite good, not too soft. The broth is also tasty, it’s subtle enough without one overpowering the other. Place gets crowded fast since they don’t have enough seating area. The Tonkotsu miso is actually the best flavor among the rest, next is the Chicken ramen. The photo attached is for the Tonkatsu black ramen.
