It’s a great stop in when you are way out of town. The food was ‘bright’, delicious, “SEASONED” and very tasty. The beer was ice cold. We wanted to stay longer but we had to get rolling…NH-16 …Put a Pin on it!

Kind of known as a biker bar by the locals, in season, there wasn’t a bike in sight in May, and it was full for dinner. It’s a standard small town sports bar with cold beer and bar & grill food. Locals crowd around the tables in the front (which is kind of cool) with others filling the booths and tables past the bar. The nachos were enormous and delicious, too much for the two of us since we also got the huge pretzel, which was also excellent with the beer cheese dip. We skipped the black olives on the nachos…that must be a northeast thing…never saw that in the south. Being in New England, of course the bar was filled with Boston teams memorabilia, a lot of it, and naturally the TVs had the Celtics game on. It felt like we should have seen Ben Affleck and Matt Damon sitting at the bar. Not the most attentive waitress, probably because it was very busy and I’m not docking a star for that. It was good food, a fun and very casual atmosphere, and the most reasonably priced we’ve seen in this touristy area. The burgers are huge and with fries at least $5 less than everywhere else here. We’ll get one next time. My wife is very picky and even she enjoyed it. If you’re tired of the overpriced bougie fare at the snooty places, this was a nice change.

One of my most favorite places to stop at when I’m in the White Mountains. The servers are always friendly and go above and beyond for you. The outdoor seating area lets you have lunch and drinks while being visited by butterflies! The food is huge portions at great prices. Love it here!

$24 for Best of Both Worlds (steak tips & broiled shrimp). Two small steaktips, and 4 med shrimp and some soggy crumbs floating in a casserole dish that was full of melted butter (oil?). Most disappointing meal I had on this vacation.

Solid option away from the shopping and tourist area. Great for dine in or takeout, evdn on a packed night. Thr lobster mac and cheese was delicious, creamy, and full if chunks of meat. Burger and kids options are tasty and filling without being over priced. Even leftovers were satisfying the next day, and that’s saying something for flavor. The coin fries are not to be skipped as your side. Atmosphere is local and welcoming. Feels like the regulars’ hangout joint but us visitors were brightly welcomed. Definitely save it as a spot to stop!

We didn’t stay. Definitely a place with locals that love it. Just not the atmosphere or menu I was expecting based on recommendation for dinner (wife’s birthday on a trip). Different need and night may have been a different review.

I didn’t expect it, but the food is superb! The staff was friendly and helpful with turning up the heat in the frigid “Time Out Room.” I would go again—for a nice midday meal with family!
