Went last night, they had gum stuck all in the carpet. I literally had to unstick my shoe from the carpet. Mgr said oh well, it’ll get fixed in the reno. Asked griller for med rare steak and he showed me the first which was overly well done. I then told him pink and he gives me another choice, which is well done. I asked him for a pinker steak and he actually argued with me that the steak was medium rare. He didn’t have time to cook me a steak to my level of doneness, but as soon as I sat down at my table , he had time to be on his phone at the grill. So I cut into the steak and it was indeed well done. The steaks were more gray than anything, and they tasted like they’d gone bad. All the food was dried out. It was just nasty all around. We weren’t brave enough to venture into the restroom facilities. This used to be a nice, affordable family place to eat. Now it’s approximately $20/person with drink, and isn’t worth a quarter of that. Also you can tell the staff that was working do not care about their jobs. Our server came once to check on us, when we were ready to leave. We told her the lemonade was out and that my daughter basically just got colored water and she brought us a refill of the same. We thought maybe a different station would have lemonade, but no. She also kept sighing loudly, and rolling her eyes because she had a large exuberant party and there was a child with special needs who was being disruptive. I get that it’s hard, but to be so openly disdainful and disrespectful of those you are serving is just wrong. Overall, I wouldn’t even give a 0 star rating.

Actually we were trying to go to another place for breakfast and the wait time was insane. So driving by we saw Golden Corral was open and gave it a try. Not a bad price for the options you get. Orange juice is included in the breakfast and located at the bar. I didn’t know that, I wouldn’t have purchased a fountain drink had I known. Our waitress was working hard. We went around 1030am. We happened to just make the breakfast. They started putting out lunch items around 11am. 2 of us ate for $27. Would have been less had I know OJ was apart of breakfast.

Well I usually like Golden Carrol and have no bad service until tonight… So me and my husband go there for dinner and the food was great no complaints about that. The problem was the waiters and waitresses, there were 1 waiter and 2 waitresses that walked by our table and didn’t bother getting us a refill on our drinks! It’s okay, so I go up to one of the waiters and ask to get a refill at our table and he says no problem. So I get my food go back to my table and I see two waitresses looking at me and laughing like I wasn’t supposed to get a refill with our food… I’m not the one to start drama but this blonde curly head chick, and long brown haired girl need to understand what customer service is. I have never felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant. Thanks a lot.

The pice increase for seniors was a shock. $16.00, with water. Add on $2.59 to $3.59 depending on what size cup you get. Then, if you leave a good tip. You are looking at $20.00 to $25.00 for lunch. We will have to rethink another place for our church group of seniors to go to eat.

Always loved eating here my family and I come for breakfast about once a month. Whatever yoi get these liquid eggs from OMG PLEASE LET THEM ALONE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND HONESTY WAS ABOUT TO THROW UP!!! 2 other family members felt the same way.

Enjoying the Days
It is Golden Corral, so you kind of get what you expect. I waited and waited for that dried out chicken leg to be replaced and wound up not having chicken. This may have been the first GC to which we have been that did not have jellybeans and other candies in the dessert section. That is simply an observation. The staff was friendly and helpful, and it was a pleasure to visit and chat with a friend who lives in the area.

Quality of food has gone down. We used to get homemade mashed potatoes. Chicken is tough. Seniors used to get free drinks with meals. Very disappointing for the money we paid. We wo t be back.

The food was okay, I just had a salad. My problem was they aren’t cooling the place enough. Probably to get people out of there quickly. lol I don’t have much of an appetite in the heat , they definitely know that is the majority of people.
