Most people don’t like to eat at the gallery because it is not a restaurant but I say for the price of the food you can’t beat it. They always have many choices to choose from. So not only do you save money but you get a great meal.

I give it three stars only because the CS1 that’s working there argues whenever he’s asked or told to put his mask on/that it’s off. He’s walking around telling people to maintain social distance and telling them to adhere to protocol while not practicing what he preaches. Aside from that, the food is standard navy food and the atmosphere is comfortable. The other personnel working there do a good job cleaning and making sure everything runs accordingly.

We thought the Thanksgiving meal was awful. On top of overcooked meat, pumpkin pie with no whipped cream, frozen cheesecake, stale cookies, and ice cold rolls we had to eat with plastic forks and had no trays. The chicken rice soup was so bad we asked the floor supervisor to taste the soup and she was shocked, it tasted like a huge jar of nutmeg spilled in it. I know where we won’t be eatting xmas dinner!

I’ve been to many galleys and DFACs but this one was the best in memory. I’m pretty critical of Navy food after having run food operations afloat and ashore, so take my recommendation with confidence. Breakfast eaten.
