Great place, live music Friday 80’s, Saturday salsa, etc. The band is superb. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. Bathrooms are clean and nice. Service is phenomenal if Mariam is your waiter, reserve table, and ask for her and TIP HER GOOD. Highly recommend. Bar tender’s drinks are to die for. On the other hand the food is not so good. I ordered one fajita taco w/ tomatoes only, twice, meat was juicy, tortilla.not so fresh. Drinks: Some rose with a mix of i dont know what, but it was Delishhhhh. The second time I ordered Gin and tonic, Barman did a little twist on the order, and it was great. Menu can do a little improvement. So, my recommendation is to eat before going there. And enjoy the music….

This appears to be sort of a hole in the wall type of place, except for the fact that it’s not. It is small (but not tiny). The food is very, very good. The menu is not that big, but it covers more than just the basics. You won’t find anything you would not like. After many visits to this restaurant, and a hundred or more to other small Mexican restaurants in the Houston area, I believe this restaurant offers the best plain, authentic Tex-Mex food in Houston. Don’t be put off by the location (on the South side of the service road for I-10). If you’re in the area, drop in. It’s popular for lunch, with patrons from all walks of life. They have live music at times, I presume mostly at night; you’ll have to check out their website for details.

i was here last night for a friend b’day party. got there around 9:15pm the parking space was great, many lights so i feel safe. thinking that this place kinda empty when i arrived, but wow starting 10:30pm the place getting full and around 11ish pm (i guess) the live band started & we loved it. btw the music (DJ) they played on also great. Young servers and they are sweet, very nice, the ambience was lovely. The only downgrade is took a while for them to bring the food to the table. however that’s not make us stop to have fun. FYI this place not for hard core latin dancers or street salsa type though ;), the dance space is not enough for you to do that. still we did have fun!! and i for sure will coming back .

Been here once before so this is my second time in and the service was mediocre at best – the waitress comes once every 2 hours or unless you basically throw something to get attention because they are undertrained or understaffed . if they get “busy” they close the kitchen early despite it not being their alleged kitchen closing time – again undertrained or understaffed . the music is so *fantastically* coordinated that you can’t even hear yourself thinking inside much less hold a conversation with the person next to you . all in all – if you don’t have to come here there’s plenty of other places to go far more reasonably priced with far better food than cold tacos .

I love coming to eat here. They have the best black beans I’ve ever tasted! This is a great location with various weekly events (salsa Saturdays for example). It’s a bit pricey but I feel like it’s worth it. The service is always great and the staff is friendly. There’s plenty of parking as well. Check this place out.

If you like tacos, you’re going to love this place. The seating area is decently sized with a small bar and stage for musicians. The server was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the menu. The jazz musicians were setting up. The tacos were mmm..mmm…good. This will be a frequent spot for me.
