We spent 4 days in New Orleans, the food from Cafe Sbisa was one of the highlights of the trip! Everything was so good and so fresh. The black coffee was excellent, we order the seafood gumbo and it was to die for. We also order Chicken and Waffles, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and I can’t even begin to describe the French toast! Unfortunately it was no room for dessert

The staff at this restaurant makes this a treat! Even with a party of 20, they were attentive and responsive.

Nice intimate Cafe in the lower end of the French Quarter. The is Creole NOT Cajun style food. The preparation is more nuanced in preparation. Excellent food items. Great bar program. Nice by-the-bottle wine selection. The wife enjoyed the one of the house’s feature cocktails. Good place for a date.

Service was good! Food was great! Loved the ambiance and date night vibes. But I was expecting more for us celebrating my gf bday. The waitress did not acknowledge that Birthday note I added to our reservation. We did come for late dinner at 8:30 and I think they were focused on closing at that time. My oyster Sbisa was sent with bacon and I requested none, but they fixed it immediately. Other than that, it was a experience we enjoyed.

The food was delicious! Our waiter Kevin was kind and recommended the best thing on the menu which was the trout Eugene – 10/10. We went on a Friday hoping to hear a live jazz band but the band only performs on Saturdays and Sundays

I came to Cafe Sbisa for the first night of my Bachelorette weekend and had a blast!!! The food was absolutely delicious. And the service was top notch. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. I will definitely be back on my next trip to New Orleans.

Sbis’s came highly recommended by our hotel concierge, which raises questions about our hotel as Sbis’s isn’t inspiring enough to be on many lists. We had a party of 6 and were seated in a dimly lit upstairs corner. The downstairs dining room was lively, but the energy drained as we ascended upstairs into the fun sponge second floor dining room. The hotel concierge suggested that it was quite a coup to secure our reservation. In truth, the restaurant was 75% empty. Our server was pleasant but painfully slow.

I can’t explain the spirit of excellence with which the staff served my Mother and our party for her 70th Birthday. The table decorations were beautiful and included a Rose and hand written Birthday card from the staff. The entire building, both upstairs and downstairs joined in Birthday songs and dancing led by an awesome live band. Patrons were moved to offer Mom well wishes and hugs. You just have to experience the music, food, smiles, and vibe for yourself.
