It was good but not great. The stand out of the evening for me wasn’t quite the food, but the ocean views. The main course featured a few options, one of which is the duck duck goose. This was certainly one of the more preferred dishes of the evening, well cooked with a good combination of flavors. The other entree was seared scallops with corn risotto. This was not a “risotto”, it looked and tasted more like grits! While it was quite enjoyable, not memorable enough for me to repeat if I saw it again. Overall the experience was worth having, but with its hefty price point and reputation, I was hoping for a bit more of a memorable food experience.

Family has been coming here for years on our annual trek to the beach and as we left this year, we acknowledged that we will be going elsewhere next year, sadly. The food was largely unremarkable and exceptionally over-priced. To be clear, we wouldn’t the pricing increases if the food was delicious and remarkable, it was anything but. Completely flavorless and lacked basic seasoning. None of us wanted to acknowledge how disappointed we were because it was a staple of our vacation. Alas, evidence that all good things come to an end…

Very nice meal and service. Great wine list and food was excellent but not amazing. Not as spectacular as the Canoe was back when Tommy owned it (which is good but not amazing with the new owners ). Manhattan prices make it feel like price skimming. Maybe drop the steaks and add some more seafood?

The food was excellent. My issue was the total lack of staff on the floor of the restaurant. A total of 3 wait staff, 1 person busing the tables and the maitre D. 5 all together. I had to ask for bread and never got asked if I wanted my ice tea filled. For the prices they charge I shouldn’t have to ask for anything. Again the food was excellent!

Came here a couple weeks ago as our “adults night out” and it was fabulous. The six of us all enjoyed our cocktails and the food was fantastic. Service was stellar and the view from the dining room got better and better as the evening went along. Would highly recommend.

I think this restaurant is trying a little too hard and missing the mark. The staff was very pretentious and our waitress couldn’t be bothered to listen to anyone or be proactive. We consistently received wrong items because she wasn’t listening or we didn’t receive things we asked for..like salt and pepper or water.

I have ate all over the country at fine dining establishments. This experience and food was second to none. It was more than a meal it was an experience of how service should be. My steak was the best I have ever had. Our waiter Dylan was energetic, knowledgeable and proffesional.

DELICIOUS is an understatement. Last night was mine and my husbands first time at Kimballs Kitchen and we were blown away. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The food was out of this world and the service and staff was impeccable. The Carolina crab soup is a MUST! It is on the expensive side, but well worth it.
