I love this place because it’s the closest thing I’ve had to a NY slice since moving from New York to Wisconsin. But this last experience was not good. Nothing wrong with food. But they have now decided to add a bunch of fees to deliver. I ordered a $11 Stromboli, and $3 fries. 14 + tax. The person on the phone then recited 3 different prices to me starting at $15 and change. Then stated $18 and change, then finished at $19.47. Each time stating there’s a fee for delivery. There’s a fee for this and that. So my $14 + tax order then jumped to $20 then I’m expected to tip a delivery driver?!? I choose to have them deliver because door dash and all the others are way too much money anymore. No you are no different. I’m disappointed.

It’s a quick and easy cheap place for pizza. The slices are huge and cheap but not anything amazing taste wise. The inside is a bit sketchy, but not disgusting. It’s right next door to a good bar for craft beers which is nice for an easy meal with your drink.

I am staying in Fon du Lac, because I’m working over near Sheboygan but their local event has all of the hotels booked up solid. My birthday was yesterday and I really wanted a calzone… and decided to try Sal’s. Just in case, I got a wrap as well, and honestly the calzone was the highlight of my day. The wrap was good, too, I ended up having it for lunch today. That being said, before I leave, I wanted another calzone, but thought it would be slightly better with a bit of crust to it, so I requested it through the online ordering process. Perfect in my mind, and now I kinda wish they delivered to me back home states away. I appreciate the folks working there, and their considerations for all requests, whether it be food related or delivery related, and they deserve every bit of the five stars. I rarely rate restaurants as I travel all over the states, but if you are in Fon du Lac and craving some great pizza… give them a try.

Had the Gyro slice of pizza and wow the slice was well worth the money. Delicious pizza, polite staff, great location and an amazing food selection. Highly recommended for Buffalo Chicken Wings and a slice of pizza.
