I wish i could give this place a negative 0 if possible!!!!!!!! I have never been more disrespected in MY LIFE!!!!!!!!! I have recently ordered from there 3 times in a week or so…. the food is very good however the wait and disrespect from the staff to the OWNER was something I have never experienced in my life ever!!!! I waited for food that I was told would be done in 35 minutes ( 1/2 tray of pizza and stuffed mushrooms) for over 1 1/2 hours, proceeded to wait after my husband got there to pick up another 25 minutes. He then left (after paying) after the waitress said sorry just a few minutes after he walked in. I called asked the waitress what happened and she said he left I dont understand your food is done. I reminded her we had already waited over 1 hour and 10 minutes for our food that was supposed to be ready in 35 minutes. She then told me he said it wasnt a problem….yes i did freak out over the phone…. said i wanted my money back when i came back to the restaurant AGAIN to get my food. When i got there i was given my money back and told I wasnt getting my food because they didnt want my business because I yelled over the phone (@ this point its been 1 hour and 35 minutes)

My favorite Pizza place in the state of PA. I going by this place and picking having both the Sicilian and Old Forge style pizza. We order to go most of the time and never had any issues picking up. When I have dined the service has always been good.

Out of respect for my brother (rip) salernos was a terrific place to dine or take out even a cocktail it very very busy on weekends i will not let any greedy people give him a bad review his food was delicious she should expect that all restaurants are busy on Fridays.. My brother kept that place over 20 years he had again rest in peace joe. All he did was cook and kept that place open he was a very hard worker.

NEVER EVER go here. Very long story short.. First time going. Walked in, no one to seat us for 10 minutes, sat down at a table. No one in site. Waited for 15 minutes, at the table I called Salerno’s and heard the phone ringing, I called 9 times listening to the phone ring, no one picked up. The places was NOT busy. Finally as someone was walking by I asked to order. I waited over an hour, no one came back to check on us. Then I went to the front of the place and found someone, asked about our food, they said it would be another 25 minutes! I waited for 50, STILL NO FOOD! I tracked someone down, they said, well, it was going to be at least another 15 minutes, I said, I have been here for over 2 hours waiting for pizza and wings. She said, well I will give you your wings, pay for them. I said, I am not paying for wings and leaving with no pizza. She said we had to wait for another 20 minutes for the pizza! Then they kept insisting I pay for the wings and the food that they had not made! I said I am not waiting. They were insisting for payment for food I never even got and they never even made!!! THEY WERE NOT BUSY. I went to the bar asked for the owner. I ended up talking to the owners sister. WHAT AN UNPROFESSIONAL waste of time. She NEVER said sorry, and said, well, I don’t know what to tell you. I told her I have kids and family waiting at home for well over 2 hours, she said, so, what do you want me to do about it, turned her back to me and walked away. This place is the worst, I never had such a horrible experience. DO NOT GO THERE.

WARNING TO SENIORS. I wished we had read the reviews before going there. We had eaten there several times in the past and it was ok. We were in town for the funeral of a beloved uncle. My wife and I, my brother and his wife, and and Aunt and Uncle decided to go for some seafood. Two of us were in the 60s, two in 70s and two in mid 80s.As in the other reviews we waited forever. Customers came and went but no meals for us. When our entrees came three were unacceptable. When we expressed our concerns to the waitress, a staff member told us we had to pay or they would call the police which they did. The owner chef never presented himself. When my brother got him to present himself he was rude agressive and unkept. His compliant staff was equally rude and agressive in getting us to pay with a police officer standing by. This place needsto be shut down. It reflects badly on the local community.

I am writing to give all of you a good laugh and hopefully keep you from going to this restaurant Salerno’s in Luzerne Pa. We have always frequented this facility for pizza, salads and a few cocktails. Yes serve was slow and we took into consideration it was a Friday night. Well needless to say, we decide to give the bar room a break and try a sit down dinner with the family for my son’s birthday. Well after 45 minutes of sitting and waiting for our food…. it comes. But unfortunately , my son’s is not done. So we all finish eating and we ask “Where is his food, Oh it’s coming.” Well he said cancel it , Im not hungry now , she said well the owner said u have to eat the bill. He’s not taking the food for my son off. We even offered to just pay for his house salad….. But NO.. the owner comes out fuming and yelling that we have to PAY for it or he’s calling the COPS… yes u heard right the cops… So make a long story short the cops come and get a chuckle that this owner , who was rude and irate would call them over Pasta with shrimp that took almost 50 minutes to make… In the end we WON and only paid for salad. So take it from me,,, if u have time to waste sitting around watching everyone around u eating and may want the cops called on you … Go to SALERNO”S in LUZERNE PA… He need to have a talk with CHEF RAMSEY.. LOL Happy eating
