The tenderloins are small thin and tastes like some sort of processed pork. not bad but forgettable. the french fries were not cooked and still cold inside, we ended up throwing those out. normally I take a point off for styrofoam, but don’t want to go any lower.

I absolutely LOVE this hometown diner, from getting greeted when we enter to a sincere “see you next time” as we leave – We feel welcome, like we’re part of the family!! The food is comfort food at its best!! My favorites are the biscuits 0& gravy, the Chicken noodle dinner (*must call ahead to make sure they havent run out of this dish which is only served on Thursdays), and their BLTs are very good!! Just 1 friendly reminder **They ONLY TAKE CASH- but tje gas station across the road has an atm if you forget** Hope you will try them out and enjoy yourselves!!

Friendlys is our families go to for breakfast almost every sunday. The girls that wait on us are awesome. They know EVERYONE that comes through those doors and if newbies come in they treat them like theyre regulars. The food never disappoints sometimes we get there at just the wrong time and we have to wait or just leave if its going to be a while.

Food is good but if I’m completely honest the portions have been better! I’ve been eating at friendlys since I was a little kid and I’m almost 37 now. I get and understand inflation has been unprecedented as of late but I think maybe they should just charge more and not take portions down. Also the only way to pay is with cash so please don’t expect to use any type of plastic at this establishment.

It’s old and dated, but in a way that wins you over. The restaurant is very clean, the service is top notch, and the burger and fries I had there were absolute fire. Next time I find myself in Elwood, my day won’t be complete unless I can make it to Friendly’s again.
