This place has a vibe that is simply awesome. It hasn’t always been that way, but since the new ownership in the last couple of years, it’s turned into a serene, friendly, fantastic atmosphere. The staff is very attentive, and the food and coffee is excellent. I had a large decaf Americano with almond milk and a Reuben. The Ruben was really hot and plenty of meat. The side of macaroni salad had bacon, cucumbers and red onion and was very tasty. I added a little salt, but I love too much salt . I’ve been patronizing this place off and on for about 20 years, but the new owner Eric has a really fantastic TikTok presence that I can’t help being drawn to. He’s genuinely an honest, kind, and hard-working person who wants the best for his employees for the community, and for humankind.

Staff seemed more interested in visiting with each other in the back than serving counter. Low enthusiasm which probably just bothers me. Most residents here don’t seem concerned by this level of service. We don’t get their coffee but they have reasonable desserts. Today we had their lemon cooler and death by chocolate cakes. Lemon was more fresh and pretty good. Chocolate was older and more dried. It probably is better when freshly made. Overall, worth a visit. It’s quiet and less crowded than competitor down the street.

This is a comfortable coffee shop in Evergreen, The staff here is excellent. The sandwich and the coffee are good. The bacon is mixed in with the egg which is a nice touch. The sandwich was expensive, but I suspect that’s a price if being in the beautiful mountains.
