Absolutely loved our experience at Podmore. The ambiance, the service and the food was all outstanding. We came here for brunch on a Sunday with a reservation. They gave us a darling corner table(s) with a full view of the restaurant. We ordered the scones (Deff a must), the Christmas breakfast and the side avocado. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. I’m going to be thinking of the food for a long time. Since it was one of our mates birthdays they gave us the soufflé pancake and it was sweet enough as a dessert. Definitely recommend if you want something a little more upscale!

I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere here; everything was so refined and beautiful, with every detail perfectly matched. Of course, this place positions itself as a cocktail bar, so you shouldn’t expect anything else. If you’re hungry and on a tight budget, I wouldn’t recommend coming here, as the portions are quite small and expensive for their size. However, all the food we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. We also tried a special cocktail that cost $30. While I didn’t particularly enjoy the taste of the cocktail, the presentation was interesting and visually incomparable. As they say, this is an “instagrammable” place Ideal for dates and meetings with girlfriends, but note that there are few seats and the establishment is small, so a table reservation is required. Additionally, parking can be difficult to find. Service is great!

The world food tour continued at … Podmore, at the corner of Alakea and Merchant Sts. We’ve been trying to get a reservation for months. 5pm was great because we were seated at the bar; always a prime seat to see the the mixologist do his magic.

Had brunch here today and the restaurant is beautiful. The servers are so friendly and helpful and recommended the rock cakes and the Christmas Breakfast which were delicious! I will definitely be back for brunch again!

A truly interesting and modern take on an English pub. Elevated small plates, unique craft cocktails and regional flavor influences that include the UK, Middle East and Iceland. Like Senia it’s sister restaurant, the decor is accentuated with soft curves and includes a statement bar that acts as a design focal point. A youthful crowd who gleefully explores a menu of colorful and interactive cocktails. A gem for dinner, we can’t wait to do brunch.

Wonderful brunch here! I happily discovered this restaurant on a walk through downtown. Shortly after that, I made reservations (recommended), and off we went. The vibe here is welcoming and relaxing. There is a comforting aesthetic here where it walks the line of calming and energetic. The background music is chill during brunch, not loud or obnoxious. Service is wonderful from start to finish and the food presentation/taste is spot on. Iced coffee is smooth, not bitter at all. Bloody Marys are great too. We live a few blocks away and will be returning. Yes, this restaurant is expensive. You are paying for the experience and quality.

We loved this place and look forward to a return on a future trip. They are fully booked for the month. Elevated cocktails, food and hospitality in a stylish and comfortable setting (bar seats were plush and a perfect place to enjoy the full experience). We would liked to have had more food, but we were still full from dinner. Brett was awesome and has curated great cocktails and music!

Great ambiance, service and overall vibe. Went for brunch and everything was done really well. We started with the raised waffles and it was decadently delicious. From there, 3 of us ordered the Christmas breakfast and 1 ordered the full English breakfast and all were happy. As for cocktails we very much enjoyed the kickstart and amaretto sour, thought thirst trap was just okay.
