The place was beautiful, food smelled amazing. But for authentic food, it was extremely bland! I asked for my steak to be well done and well I didn’t expect to eat a tire. So after myself and someone else was struggling to cut it I tried just clamping down on it and tugging the fork and ended up stabbing the tip of my nose and all inside of it. The worst part the steak still hadn’t pulled apart, so I was holding it in my mouth for 10 mins to soften it enough to chew before spitting it into my napkin and being done with the whole meal entirely. Three people each with an plate and one dessert, $50 for something we should have just got from Taco Bell. None of us ate 1/4 of our food, we just collected our to go plates and trashed it. As you can see from the pics 24 minutes later, the bleeding stopped but you can see how my nostrils are different and the under part of my nose is still swollen.

Went here for my aunts birthday yesterday. Table of 8. We mentioned to the staff it was her birthday but they couldn’t tell us if they did anything special like sing happy birthday, etc how it’s done at Mi Mexico. They did have Taco Tuesday specials $1 for your choose of chicken, beef, bean taco w/ only cheese and lettuce. That’s a really great deal but most ended up ordering off the menu. Their other special is 2 Margaritas for $14. The Margaritas were great.

Pretty disappointing after ordering a chicken taco salad and the shell wasnt freshly made. It tasted like 5 days old and the plate was warm because they just heated up! They are trying to be cheap and the food is losing its quality! SAD!

I wish that I could give a half star. My experience is ultimately about integrity. I was overcharged. It was not a mistake. The server actually changed my tip and total after the fact. When I saw the amount in my bank, I called the manager as my friend had a similar issue. The manager assured me the employee has had a history of questionable service and that management is letting him go. AND I would receive a refund. A week later and still no refund. So while the food may have been passable, the service and management are sadly lacking. It makes me wonder if that server is still there.

Food was good, however my steak was not done on my Texas Nachos I don’t eat med rare meat and it was still bleeding turned my tummy! Also the chicken was pieces like scraps and only 4 pieces of shrimp on top to make it look good! Oh by the way this plate was $14 The seating was fine service was ok

My family and I have eaten here for years and also ordered carry out, but the food comes out cold at best and that’s even if they give you the right order, and when you point out that you got the wrong order they do nothing to help or rectify the situation. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants in Lexington that understand good food and customer service and cinco de mayo isn’t one of them
